That sucks! Dang it Dingo, stupid economy, i'm suffering myself, but i'm lucky to be on unemployment. So if we can't find a replacement for Dingo, is the rest of us going to have to pay a little more for the room?

Hecxz, don't worry, I'll find someone to fill the spot, so the payment amount should not change any. The rooms are supposed to be pretty big this year (the description says they even have a table in them... but we'll see).

EDIT: Also, I've finally decided on a costume. For real this time, guys. I'm gonna be Harp Note -- I've bought a new guitar for it and everything :3 (granted, I wanted a new guitar anyway, so it all works out...)

The girl was never part of our rooms, it all stemmed from the guy I think. I only heard about the drama after the con as well, otherwise I would have put a stop to it right there and then.

So yeah, definitely only bringing in someone I know. XD

still gotta find a hotel room for a couple of my buddies and i- good thing the map of Otakon has so many around it!

I've never been to Otakon before but it looks like tons of fun! Zenkaikon around were i live was a blast for '08, though X3

I would book your hotel room as fast as you absolutely can. Most hotels around the con are already sold out.

So, uh... I gotta see what's going on over here. We just got a new assistant store manager in my store who has already informed me that I'm not going to Otakon. Reason being? He's once of the bouncers for the dance. (really?)

But... my store manager has already cleared me for Otakon... so... I'm confused. Hopefully this can all be resolved when my manager get's back from his honeymoon.

Though if I'm not able to go, I can hand you guys his picture and you can all gang up on him. ^_^

When you say one of the bouncers for the dance, do you mean the Otakon Rave? Wow, what are the chances? XD

Is there a head manager you can appeal to? Like you said, you've already been cleared for Otakon. If he doesn't let you come, we can follow him and try to catch him in a compromising position. Or force one, like Haruhi!

They can't do that! If they already cleared you regardless, you should be free to go. It's their fault and they need to think a lot harder next time planning schedules. If anything maybe this new manager need to step up with his new status and work around this mess then screwing people over.

I'm still planning my trip, I'm 90% certain i'll be going but i'm currently on Unemployment and on a job hunt. Though I let my reviewers know that I need July 16th-20th off at all possible ahead of time. So I see how far it goes. If I hear something you will know. Sorry for the delay.
