According to TUS, according to COCOROG, Takamisaki Ryou, the artist for the most well known EXE manga is going to do a new Ryuusei manga series.
Here's to hoping it won't be like Itagaki Masaya's version. Though I can't exactly imagine Subaru's face in Takamisaki's style. I'm picturing Netto but in Subaru's head frame and it doesn't fit at all.
Thoughts, anyone?

If he can keep it like the early EXE manga, then this'll probably be a very good thing. (No more Tribal Form mating!) But if we're talkin' end of the line power-grabbin' and transformation spammin', then we might as well pack up shop.
So... in my viewpoint this could go either way, very, very quickly.

In a way, it will "improvise" with the game's story. Hopefully, he will not change the character's personalities.

This could do good things for Ryuusei in general. Like Malik, I'm hoping he doesn't draw Subaru just like he did Netto except with a different hairstyle and outfit. However, his style is pretty cool, and would probably draw in a lot more fans. I don't hate Itagaki's take, but it's just so removed from what I personally like about the series that it's disappointing to think that it may have been many kids' introduction to Ryuusei.
Wonder if he'll start from the first game's plot, or just give us a quick summary of 1 and 2, and jump in on the plot of the third game? I seriously doubt he'll just roll with Itagaki's story. |

I hope they do, because people been urging to read the new Megaman manga and they cannot take it anymore. I wish Viz licensed them early as soon as possible. |
