05/17/09: "The Secret Life of Megaman" at Otakon!

That's right folks, we will once again be presenting a panel all about Megaman at Otakon in Baltimore, Maryland this year! We were really happy at the huge turnout we had for last year's "Cheers to 21 Years of Megaman" panel, and apparantly so did Otakon's staff, cause they've invited us back once again!

Since we covered the timeline last year, that leaves us open to do a lot more innovative and fun things for this year! I'm also bringing back the raffle this year, as I have accumulated a whole new array of goodies to give away. :)

So if you're coming to Otakon 2009, be sure to come see us! Your panelists will be myself, LBD Nytetrayn of Megaman Network, Terra of Stardroids.net, and Tabby from REO & Digitally Fanged!

Hecxz, will you have your camera with you again this year? If not, I have a mini dv camera someone can use to record us. XD

Why do I get the feeling Tabby came up with the name for the panel this time around and that it will focus mostly on Rock x Blues doujinshi? Razz

Despite the childish jokes that can come out of the title, I'm interested to see what you guys present this year. It was fun to be able to watch the video of your panel last year to see and hear some of you and your voices for the first time. And you did a good job presenting all that you did in the time you had to put it all together. I hope it does get recorded once again. Good luck in putting the presentation (whatever it may be) together!

Have you tried talking to Capcom about donating a prize for the raffle, like those new Megaman Star Force DSi Protection Packs? I'm sure they would considering they did it last year and they are doing it for The Megaman Network.

Awesomeness, I didn't know, I was gonna see about if i can find some things as well, but if you got plenty I won't bother. Though I will say I'm starting to find a few stragglers of those capsule Megaman figures we gave out last year laying around in my computer/storage room lol Razz

I just got an e-mail from Otakon with our panel time! This year we got probably one of the most PRIME spots of the con!

Day: Saturday, 7/18/09
Time: 12:45PM - 1:45PM
Location: Panel 2

We are so very lucky. :D It'll be right after OtaRockman! Which means I will have to be Greiga for the panel, lol. XD Oh wells.

Sweet I'm so gonna be there again at this panel again this year x3 Lucky its right after OtaRockman ^^ And quick question: For thoses in the EXE tournament this year, will we be able to get in to see the panel? Like will we have reserved spots?

From what I understand, we can not reserve seats for anyone other than those directly helping with the panel. We are going to be moving the time of the EXE Tourney simply because we have no choice - Terra is one of our panelists. ^_^; I'm sure she'll update in the tourney thread soon with more info.
