There was a boy who gained interest in a Mega Man X game that his cousin had left him. He then found a whole community dedicated to it and slowly slipped in through the background. He learned of other new games coming out and tried them, and decided to help spread the word. After the fan-base grew larger he found no need to really stick around and disappeared as soon as the shooting stars started to fall. He took time off to seek who he really was and now comes back stronger than ever before.
Has it really been two years? Seems like not a lots changed, aside from maybe people's memories. I decided to keep the same old username, though my interests are different. I think it defines who I am...
For those of you who don't know me, I've been around long before some of you, Though, it does say my first post was in 2005...trust me, I've been around for much longer. I'm 20 years old, soon to be 21, and a much dedicated Mega Man fan and an artist. It's been about 2 years since I left, without a formal 'goodbye'.
I dunno why I left, but I did, and it was for the better. My character was slightly at jeopardy, and i felt like I wasn't maturing by being on the Forums and IRC chat all the time. I needed to branch out and appreciate other things, which I did, and am back to meet whatever anyone wants of me if I have time.
To gain an example of exactly how dedicated I am...I own about 45 different Mega Man games, some different versions etc. all spanning the Classic, X, Zero, BN, Starforce, ZX, and Zero series. Mega Man was one of two reasons I wanted to be an artist, the other being Sonic the Hedgehog. However I recently have started to come to show that I wasn't interested in being just a fan anymore, but more into studying the marketing, what goes into a good story and character lately, etc.
I also plan on doing commissions, but not until after I finish my current ones, and get an entry in for a certain contest. But I can draw, trust me.
Anyways, I hope you come to like who I am, and I hope we can become friends! |

Yeah, I really needed to see the outside world. Wanted to appreciate things... but I'm back, and plan to come around every now and then...maybe once or twice a week. |

I'd understand why you wouldn't really wanna come very often. You were kinda banned every now and then for 'being an ass', when it was really just you being you... and also blocked from a couple of people... I remember those days very slightly
sometimes we can't control the things we do or why. |

Mineoke, How would you remember me? I don't see any updates for you past July, and it says you joined 2008. I had left right before EXE6 came out in Japan in 2005. I did update a few times, but not as much as I've contributed over the years.
Dark Roll, have you been lurking for ALL these years!? like...wow. as early as 2003, or what? Thanks for the squeals...and my current well known psuedo name is The Masked Man in most places now. |
