My DS will be getting quite a fair bit of usage from the E3 games in the coming months...
- Megaman Star Force 3: Black Ace (Of course.)
- Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story (The game looks quite a bit better than Partners in Time, and you can play as Bowser? Awesome.)
- Ace Attorney Investigations (Of course, new gameplay and good reviews? Thumbs up.)
- Golden Sun DS (Came out of nowhere and was a helluva nice surprise.)
More information on Spirit Tracks will be nice, but it does promise to have some more cool boss fights just like Phantom Hourglass had.
I didn't really care much about the Natal and motion detector stuff. I think those're gimmicks and unnecessary. Or maybe I'm just old, and cannot adjust to the growing changes in the videogame industry. I rolled my eyes at Final Fantasy XIV being announced before XIII had even been released. I think they should keep the MMOs out of the numbered games. Make it a spin off or something. _________________ ' I don't care if the buzz isn't real- I can roleplay being drunk!'

I loved trains, I think spirit tracks looks fun. Natal looks overhyped, just like all the other motion capture things that have nice trailers but are inaccurate. Sure, the impressions were good, but how many times do you bet it will misread your "page-turn" gesture or mishear a word? Many times. Plus, not having something tangible when playing games looks frustrating and detaching (Not to mention tiring, making huge sweeping gestures all the time). They look at it as getting you more in the game, I look at it as being pushed away from it. Looks infuriating already. PS3's thing is cool. I think I already said motionplus would suit me fine, didn't I? I think I did. |

I am a bit concerned about its concept. Yes, it looks to be an amazing game from the trailer, but I can't help but think the title implies that the Metroid franchise is about to get "Star Trek-ed" in that something terrible will happen in the universe as we know it, and some major protagonist will fall into a timeslip of some sort and end up in a parallel universe, where this game takes place. Don't get me wrong--the idea of an alternate universe was neat--but it felt like some sort of cop-out. |
...Wait, what? What about Other M gave you the impression they were doing an alternate universe? I just figured the game would center around the years Samus spent working for the Federation, something they already made reference to in Fusion and showed briefly in the manga.
Speaking of which, I seriously hope they don't include her "sidekicks" from the manga, they were just silly and uninteresting. _________________ Stuck In The Middle With You; a Metroid and Halo crossover

Yeah. Most think that. But the fears I hear is that they'll DOA Samus up. Since she's always in a suit. |

All I've heard so far on it is that she will have a lot more melee attacks. Though I think Team Ninja does some pretty impressive work. _________________ This post is brought to you by Strider Angelus Productions!

For one thing, I went with the working title of the game--"Other" seems to me either a side story or some sort of alternate adventure from the actual canon. Perhaps it's that my mind was clouded from my recent viewing of the aforementioned movie, but I still had that nagging feeling about it. Then again, there's not much information to support or refute my hypothesis at this time, so I'll keep it aside--I hope it is as you say, but I am keeping that implication open until I see otherwise.
I do recall that it was alluded to that she did work for the Federation, but for some reason I seem to have believed that her first job for the Federation was the actual cleanup on Zebes that was chronicled in the first game of the series. Looks like I need to concede that point. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! But they'll have to avoid the Whammy, as they play the most exciting game of their lives! In the trailer a commander looking officer mentions a line with "Lady" in it, specifically something that is mention as a trait of Adam, who became the AI accompanying Samus in Fusion had as a trait. Also it turns out his last name is Malkovich, so who knows, maybe the "other M" relates to him? _________________

i am merely passing by to mention The last guardian.
Also slash damage's new game Brink has a lot of sweet eye candy out but the art direction is still retarded and the characters look dumb. _________________ hi mom.

One game I'm certainly going to be looking forward to will be Beatles RockBand.
I have officially fallen in love with Beatles music since I saw Yellow Submarine. _________________
