Hi everybody!
How I said here, I'm gonna doing some 3D objects from EXE!
I'll start now with Navi Logos, so, let's go!
Here's the base:

I've divided the object in three sectors, accordingly with the colour: the external one (ring), the middle one (rim) and the internal (core).
And that's for proving it's real 3d Laughing

after long chit-chatting, I finally managed to render a first version of a navi-logo!
and the first one is... Bass (d'oh! Maybe too easy, uh? Laughing

)

Two things, the side is a little too curvy. The emblems don't fan down like a frisbee, they have a sharp 45 degree angle.

Second--and I'm not sure on this one because Forte's symbol is unique... The white slash doesn't leave the center circle, I think. In all other emblems the design doesn't, anyway.

Looking forward to more stuff! :D

as you may see, the slash goes towards the body but, since I dont have a model, I left it a bit bolder than the real one Razz

ok, becuase of the (right)saito-kun's comments, I remodelled the base from scratch, and I won't do any other logo untill the base it's per-fe-ct. Ok, comment!

When comparing to your revised version, the sides need to be just a bit longer/thicker, and, I believe, at an even sharper angel.

Think of them as a plastic up, cut horizontally, and throw away the top half; the bottom, what you're left with, should be similar in angle to the navi emblem:

Still a little too curved and maybe a smidge long, but getting much better! :D Yea, I remember Forte's emblem being weird now. (They account for that in the manga, but not the games or anime. O_o)

I must warn you that the camera acts like a real 35mm, so some distorsion is more than normal!
here's the wire: as you may see, the edge it's almost plain.

Looks good! It's hard to critique such a "flimsy" design as Forte's symbol. It's not really concrete, since it has been shown differently all over the place. Less flashy here, more flashy there. I think it's great! What's next? :D

It had to be a surprise, but...
I'm gonna post Rockman's! It's almost ready, indeed.
So, is Bass ok? may I place it in the "done" gallery?
Oh, yeah, forgot: some logos will be composed like the core is "sculpted", some others will have a texture, so they'll look "flat"
