06/21/09 New Rockman.exe game announced!

It seems I came back around just the right moment then. I heard about this in the morning and I'm really looking forward to it. We need screens. movies, screenshots... everything!

A friend of mine in Japan has said it is rumoured that the EXE part may be a remake. I surely hope not. :(

The logo does look like the one from EXE 1-3... I was trying to search some Japanese sites today for any little tidbits of info or rumors, but came up with nothing. Sad

Surely they wouldn't redo anything...

Could mean an alternate timeline. Events during the first EXE but Ryusei timeline interferes? Interesting idea but hardly what I want most. Sad

They probably only used the logo from the first three games because they havn't made the new logo yet(?). I know they do that whenever Nintendo announces a new Zelda game; they just use an old logo, and then after a few months, they release the new one that goes a long with the game. =)

@linkfreak131 : I hope you're right about the logo thing but that made me think of something ... why did they reuse the logo from the first three games and not the *last* three [hmm, 4.5? lol] games? I don't know if that's a clue but I'd like to speculate that the beginnings of Ryusei originated somewhere in the timeline of 1~3 ...

Woah, out of here for a month and gods damn, return of BattleNetwork!? Awesome!

I've actually played through Starforce, and its a simplified Battle Network, and yes you get to see Megaman in the first game (He appears because a Jammer stole from SciLab, you get stuff back from Jammer, and then he shows up to get it back. Very good buster he gives you, ahaa.). A cross-over might actually mean what happens in the first game more, they all just cross over, xD. (Oddly, I keep on thinking of how would it all work out for different people and navis to appear in the story.)

Even if it might be a re-make of BN1, that still sounds like it'll pretty sweet! Any luck we could have voice actors for this one again? (Just make sure they do it with some...gusto, please. Protoman and Coloniel felt so...Weak.)

from what i heard, it will be a remake of EXE1 with ryuusei somehow mixed up into it. and also from alaot of things that i have seen/read it will bring back the 2D graphics and will go back to EXE style battle with a side veiw. i am exited to see how this will turn out.
