Man, even though I'm not going, I'm still very happy for everyone in anticipation for the panel. I hope they give you a REAL panel room and not a workshop room like last time. _________________

We are in room Panel 2 this year, which holds 200 people. :) Much nicer than that workshop room we got last year. n.n; We're going to miss you, Dingo! _________________ "Cats are interesting. Thank you so much to everyone who came. ^_^ Once again, even with a bigger panel room, we maxed out our space! So we hope to do it all again next year. ^_^ _________________ "Cats are interesting. Yeah, it was pretty awesome!
Once again for those who are wondering....
I'll be posting the video of the Panel in the next couple of weeks, i'll be editing it once I get home and I'll make a HI-Res version to download here on REO and post the link on the forums.
As well for those with a smaller internet connection, there will be a Lo-Res version cut into pieces posted on YouTube & MySpace TV. _________________ -Follow me on Twitch.tv-

Man, I couldn't believe the line of people waiting to get in. O_o I know we had one last year but this year it was EPIC long. Craziness! I hope everyone liked the prizes we gave away, though. Everyone was pretty surprised by the (semi) last prize of the Megaman 9 Press Kit that Capcom gave us. :) _________________ "Cats are interesting. They're kind of like girls. Figured I had to share this, considering it made me "chuckle" a lil bit
source: http://www.fort90.com/journal/?p=702
------------------------------------
"Time for another panel! Was interested in “Anime’s Crazies Deaths” but the line for it was way too long for my tastes, yet the one for “The Secret Life of Mega Man” appeared far more reasonable. Again, this is Mega Man we’re talking about; it’s been around for over twenty years, there’s been close to ten different iterations and spin-offs, translation: a million things to talk about. But what was presented instead? A bunch of f’n YouTube videos that everyone has seen a million times by now. Oh God. But again, I seemed to be the only person who had a problem, everyone else ate it all up like cotton candy.
What I find most insulting in instances like these is how the presenters will hype their assortment of goods, a definite collection of the very best, along with the truly crazy, yet they always seem to miss such brain-dead obvious ones, which despite being in the know, I’m certain these idiots have zero idea exist. Basically, I can’t believe they neglected Crash Man professing his gay crush for Mega Man. Instead we get the Guts Man’s ass video which was never funny to being with. Then there was a trailer for a fan-made, live action Mega Man movie… not this one, which everyone’s already seen to death by now, though it too was screened… but something far newer, and which appears to be filmed in NYC. It’s… cute I guess. What really put me off was the longwinded artist’s statement from the director that the moderators read before the trailer was played. Though I must admit, this one, about Dr. Wily struggling with rising cost of stuff did make me chuckle, and at least they did play the fantastic anime trailer for ZX, which never gets old.
But that was it, just a bunch of stupid videos. For whatever reason, I sat through them all, assuming that it was the precursor to some big conversation; you’d think with about four different so called Mega Man experts, they would want to talk about… you know… Mega Man? But once I heard “Okay, that about wraps it up.” I got super pissed; next was some stupid raffle drawing, which I could have not given a rat’s ass about, hence why I made my exit. On my way out, the Otakon staff person manning the door asked if I was just going to the bathroom or if I was not coming back. When I stated that I was done, he gave the signal for some dude who was waiting in standby… despite the fact that almost an hour had passed and that the panel was practically finished, you still had a very LONG line of people waiting for any dropouts to snatch their seat. The guy became super excited and rushed towards the door, but not without giving me this gigantic hug, and before I could stop myself, my gut reacted with “GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME!” Everyone who witnessed this though I was a huge asshole."
--------------------------------------------------
Out of all the guys in the panel, here's the only bad review....but at the same time, dude sounds like a prick to me...
Video is coming!

It's kind of funny that every time he mentions something bad, he keeps saying "but everyone else enjoyed it" or "...but they did play this and this that I liked a lot", lol. ^^; You can't please everybody! If he wanted discussions, he should have come last year. :P It would be boring to repeat ourselves twice. Not to mention it gave a full description of our panel in the program guide. ^^;; Thanks for the link, though!
I'll send you a PM with the link to the videos. :3 _________________ "Cats are interesting. They're kind of like girls. When they come talk to you, it's great. When you go talk to them, it doesn't go so well." - Miyamoto

Yeah, it's was a funny read. I left a comment to explain to the cry-baby about it and even said here's a link to '08's video, rub it in that he walked out on a chance to get the MM9 Press Kit.
Got the PM so i'm downloading the vids now, thanks! I'll get "Freeze" cracking on it! (DUN-DUUUUUMMMM!) _________________ -Follow me on Twitch.tv-

Just an update, the dude is actually pretty nice. We've been talking back and forth a bit, and clarified some of his complaints. He also took good photos of Greiga with mah Nettos, which makes me happy. XD _________________ "Cats are interesting. They're kind of like girls. When they come talk to you, it's great. Update on the video
The video clocks in at a lil over 59 minutes, and I'm finalizing it now on my computer, I'll be inspecting it over before uploading online, so it's safe to say this week is when you guys will see the panel online.
Shortly after uploading it online, i'll start work on the MMBN3 Tournament. Thanks for your alls patience! _________________ -Follow me on Twitch.tv-
