Two versions of the battle system, or the game itself? ^^U

Yea, I get my news from PRC. Some of the commenters there can be rude, but not all of them! Smile

I don't know it seems to early for a remake, consideirng that the EXE series hasn't been around that long as well as Capcom is doing this for the money EXE makes them, I am not we should get a remake. Of course, reaction to this is mixed so I am completely against the remake but at the same time, I feel as though it is too early for the remake to come to pass.

I don't mind a remake, but make it a stand alone title, and not a Remake & Crossover, which will somehow screw the Exe/SF timeline.

I would've preferred something new but a remake isn't bad either.

EXE 1 was a pretty flawed game and there's a lot they could improve on with stuff from the later ones.

I just hope that the normal internet gets fixed.
All the area's looked the same and was a maze imo.

Eh, would've preferred something new, but oh well, BN1 could use a lot of polish.

It would have been kind of fun if the game started out like a straight-up remake of BN1, but then elements and charcters and stuff from the Star Force time started showing up through whatever time continuum abuses were enacted and they start messing up the story, so that by the end we'd have something completely different.

Thankfully I have avoided the Geno virus long enough to find the main site

http://www.capcom.co.jp/rockman/exe_oss/index.html

If it hasn't been posted already, if it has I will orz in the corner.

Definitely points to a remake of the first game. Haven't actually read the message, but yeaah...

Not much on the site yet though.

The message says something about the fans calling for more EXE, and the producer himself wanting to see some more of Netto and Rockman. It makes a point of talking about their friendship, so I hope with this remake they also redo the dialogue and go deeper into the characters. Though I believe I've already said that. About five times. Laughing

Fail for no BG music. Though I'm sure it will just be a remixed EXE1 theme when they do add it.

For admitting this, I will be forever labeled an epic nerd.

I had a dream about the game last night. >_>

It was pretty epic. You fought Forte. It wasn't a floating battle screen, but rather a typical cyberspace like in the early season 1 episodes or the boss battle with Blues in NT. It had a glowy grid overlaid on the ground so it was typical gameplay. The attacks were epic and the graphics were great, though still within DS limits.

And for some reason at the end they stopped fighting and started working together. O_o

Ok... feel free to laugh at my patheticness... I believe this is the first time I've had a dream about a video game. (Sorry 'bout the double post, editing wouldn't make people read it. I just had to share it since it will never be quite so epic. ;__;)

this looks AWESOME!!

I really hope Capcom brings this game to the US... and hopefully, along with it, some of the PET toys/Star Carrier etc.

I would be really disappointed if this never made it to the US though, since I can't really play Japanese games, since I know nothing of the language.

seeing all the links for the game makes me happy. alot of the newer fans probably only now about ryuusei, but this might get them into the EXE series some time after the game comes out.

Something I also hope is that they actaully add a story for the post game stuff.
Sure you had Pharaohman, Shadowman and Bass, but no story to it.
Maybe add the story element in which Bass steals the "DreamAura" from the WWW servers which Pharaohman and Shadowman were protecting?

an after story would be a fun add-on after beating the game. it would give players something fun to do while trying to colect all the missed chips. an after story for the game could also be a way to obtain a verstion only chip, other then the giga chip obtained neer the end of the battle.

Sounds like the plot will have some differences, at least. It wouldn't really work otherwise unless they limit the Star Force characters to Clock Man's scenario only. (And any other new ones, if there's more)

Hm, I can also see Harp Note in there...

Same old bland Internet areas = bad. Very bad. Maps = good. Very good.

If this ever comes out stateside, the reviewers are going to tear it to shreds based on the old graphics alone. I do see that they updated Lan's mugshot a bit.

Yeah, I hope that there are some alterations to the original story. Like have it progress the same until the Star Force characters appear and start messing around with the story. They better not be simply confined to a bonus scenario or something. That would be disappointing.

Why did they have to name the Big Bad Clock Man instead of Clock Genius? Anyway, this game is going to be awesome I know it.

I hope everyone in Japan voices disappointment over the reused graphics and they redo them.
