Lol, yes XD Too bad my hair is pretty tough to dye in such a weird color.
Yeah, in the American translation of R.EXE, Laika is almost always translated as Raika. Since I first met him through the Japanese version, I know him mostly as Laika.

It seems backwards, because you'd think the Japanese would have the r-ified version of Laika while the non-Asians would have the original. But of course, they probably just changed the name for the sake of not having a real name referenced. For whatever reason.  |

Japanese have no L in their alphabet, so they use an R for words that have both an R or an L in them. So if you listen to the Japanese pronunciation, you hear 'Raika' as well. It could be that it caused confusion in the English adaptation and that they thought it was 'Raika' from the start.
