Ugh... I hate going back to work after Otakon. Customers are nasty, shelves are a mess, and I think something died in my backroom but no one is telling me what it is.

Can it be next year already?

I went to Otakon this year for my first convention and I loved it. Since Baltimore is really close to where I live, I'll definitely be going next year. I also might decide to do a Rockman Cosplay but I don't have any ideas at the moment.

Days Inn and Hilton are both accepting reservations now BTW. So if you're not worried about the con rate and want some rooms things are still open for now anyway.

Jeez I had a blast this year I wish I could have did better in the Tournament but oh well I'll do better next time. XD;;; Glad to have saw everyone there again this year and Ryouko your Gregar Cosplay was off the hook! XD I'm going again for the 5th time in 2010 can't wait to see everyone there again. ^^

same here mari, but but for me it looks like i would have a better chance of going after i complete 1 year of college. i am hoping i will be able to save up enough go to otakon in 2 years.

i have been wanting to go to otakon ever since i heard if it when i first attended a convention 2 years ago when i was 15. (don't laugh at how short of a whiile ago i heard of it. up untill 3 years ago, i wasn't in anime friendly locations.) to be back on topic, i am hoping i can go in a couple of years.
PLANE TRIP!!!

i am currently planing a road trip to go there in 2 years. maybe 3, it depends how much i will beable to save. i m leaning towards going in three years from now to make the trip a high school graduation present for one of my friends. (she goes to a five year college prep school) i have 2 with me and i shall drag two more with me.

i am going to start saving up for my road trip planes this year. i am going to try not to spend any of my money (the parents want some of it to go to college fund) and use the 'fun money' portion for the trip.

I hope I can afford to go to Otakon in 2010. My girlfriend is moving to Toronto sometime early next year of things go well and I promised her we'd go to Anime North together.

and heck I though the Hilton was a bigger name in the Hotel industry then Days Inn and they don't have any of it? Bleh....

Fridges, Microwaves, and Free Internets is always a deal breaker though!

According to Otakon's Passkey thing, it says that the Days Inn is already sold out. Does anyone know if this is true? I'm kind of hoping not since I was hoping to get a room there again since I liked it in '08. x_x;

The Days Inn is basically the hotel that everybody and their brother wants to stay at for Otakon, so if the next year's date is announced more than 360 days in advance (since the Days Inn only accepts reservations no more than 360 days in advance of the check-out date), it'll be sold out literally within 24 hours of the moment reservations become available.

From what I have heard, the Days Inn sold out on PassKey within hours. I don't even know what the offered convention rate was. ^^;

D-Darn, that's just what I feared would happen. Well, thank you both. I guess it's just now a case of hoping something comes up with being on the waiting list. x_x

I'm sorry to be a pest, but does anyone have any experience with the Sheraton? I figured I'd ask before possibly reserving, since that seems to be one of the few still available. (At least, last I checked...)
