Damn Toei Animatio for forcing Youtube to suspend Team Four Stars youtube account >Sad

I don't understand why?!

1. TFS is doing it for free, no profits made
2. Even Funimation said that it is great "FREE" advertisement for the actal show
3. It is a parody, not unlike other youtube accounts which upload the actual anime series.

My favorite series is YGOTAS and yugioh gx abridged by Dark Side Incorporated. Also I've seen some of team four star's work and I really enjoyed it. Too bad they got suspended.

Basically a funny version of a series. It's short, it may not stick very well to the plot and it's fun of jokes about the series it's self. They're quite fun.

they are made by parodiers. they may be made by fans or people who want to make fun of the series.

I've watched a little bit of Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged, and while I did get some chuckles out of it, it wasn't really my thing. The real deal already provides me with plenty of laughs, heck, the most recent episode of 5D's involved Yuusei, the protagonist, being kidnapped and thrown in the back of a truck by Mexican wrestlers, then we got a chase scene, then Aki, the female lead, using psychic powers to break open the truck, and after that it turned into the movie Speed, except with a motorcycle instead of a bus, and later without the bomb, while he duels a helmeted person with a plant/medieval theme who turns out to be a blond chick who wants to forcefully draft him into her team for an upcoming tournament.

Solid entertainment.

Exactly. But of course LK doesn't seem to like 5D's. Or GX. But think of it like Mystery Science Theater 3000. Only shorter.

Heh, I actually like 5Ds a fair bit for the typical vintage Yu-Gi-Oh over the top moments (well, except for things like Misty's death; that was overblown stupid) and the fact that the writers actually tried doing some interesting stuff. It's done a number of neat things too, like when Yuusei used a thrown-together deck full of cards that were old as dirt yet had never appeared in the anime before (like The Bistro Butcher), the three-on-one duel at the end of Season 1, the duel using one of those really old stadiums from the first series, and when the aforementioned blond woman pulled out a fusion monster (They still make these?).

Anyway, back to Abridged... I've also seen a bit of the Dragon Ball Z one. Apparently that one and Yu-Gi-Oh are the only ones really worth watching, from what I've heard. It was all right too, though I'm not really the biggest Dragon Ball fan out there. I did like how there was more vocal variety thanks to the different people working on it. And they even used some music from the One Piece anime at one point.

I agree with you on 5D's. It has been awesome. GX was also good but it only really started to get cool halfway season 2.
Also, Japan counts the "Dark Signers" as season 2.

Favorite part of DBZA wa the AWA special.

Nappa: Don't make fun of Death Note Vegeta, it is one of the most original anime in the past 10 years and it has a much more original plot than Dragon Ba.. Hahahahahahhaha... pointless.

Nappa: I rather watch Naruto Vegeta.

Vegeta: For gods sake, If i wanted to watch over 100 episodes of filler, I would watch InuYasha.

Nappa: How about Bleach Vegeta? It's like us, but with swords.

Vegeta: I liked that show better when it was called Yu-Yu-Hakasho. And I liked that show better when it was called DRAGON BALL Z!

Nappa: Oh snap Vegeta, High five.

Vegeta: No.

Nappa: Okay... Later then

You see, that's what these have. Fun jokes about the series and others. Speaking of Naruto, that is also abridged.

Has to be Yugioh abridged.

But I am more of a fan of WTF Pokemon though. It's not abridged, but it is in the spirit of it. Razz

Would have to say that YGOTAS is my favorite. LK (LittleKuriboh) has some of the best voices, as well as come of the best catch phrases around ("Screw the rules, I have money!", Marik's "EFF!" sound, Joey's "BROOKLYN RAGE!", and a few others).

I have also watched the DSI (DarkSideIncorporated) YGOGXA series. They are pretty good, as well.

One of my new favorite is Sonic X: The Abridged Series, which is being made by DSI's ShadyVox (solo, I think). The jokes are well delivered, on target, etc.
