Yes. How much you'll like it is beyond our knowledge, but you should at least try it. If you don't like it then just don't buy the others!
I recently typed up what I like and don't like about the RnR series in comparison with the EXE series. I should finish it and post it sometime soon... |

I hated the first game. I thought it was really boring (thank goodness I only borrowed it from a friend xD); never played the seconded one. I did buy the third one, though, and I enjoy that one a lot. It's definitely different and more interesting than the first SF game, and I'd say it's worth the money. _________________ My art blog: http://annamariacoppi.blogspot.com/

I'll probably get the third, and I would actually recommend you buy that one if only one. The first one is pretty meh, and even though the second one improves a lot of things, it's the same type of meh. The third holds promise. I know a lot of people do enjoy all three though, so you may as well give it a shot.
If nothing else, just stick with the anime, as it's a teeeny bit better than the games. |

not much into anime, but thanks i really only play the games so I was looking for some suggestions. ive read they are too much like Battle Network/EXE to be worth playing, but ill check it out anyways
and another question: would i have to play the first game in order to understand the story? |

Nah, I played, maybe, only a couple of hours into the first game before I stopped. SF3 gives you a pretty good background on what happened before, like, once you meet any important character, you have the option of reading a small bio on them. You might not understand the whole thing with Mu, though. Mu you could easily look up online, though. =) _________________ My art blog: http://annamariacoppi.blogspot.com/
