You know it will be.
I like Clockman as Clockman and not Clock Genius. It makes more sense for an EXE game to have the winner be a navi and not an Denpa Seijin. _________________

I was never fond of X/RnR's weird naming scheme. I know ___man might seem cheesy, but I love it and it seems less cheesy than names like Chill Penguin or Sting Chameleon, or Cancer Bubble.
Give me good old Airman and Skullman and Iceman (Preferably with an EXE on the end. Lol, Rockman.exe is Windows-based. What if Mac were top? Rockman.app XD) any day.
I'm obviously quite excited about the game still, but I'm disappointed in the lack of a blow-me-away amount of work... guess it wasn't that big of a project.
We'll see. I'll be happy with anything, pretty much. |

Kinda doubtful. They're probably happy that Capcom is even bothering to go back to EXE. Heck, I'm the same way. Let's just be happy that this game exists at all. ^^
Anyways, I'm very happy to see more of OSS!~ Although I wasn't expecting to see Harp Note. The map is a nice and very needed touch, though. _________________ MegaMan Kilobit

It doesn't matter which style you use, most of the characters would still be getting reused sprites. The only ones getting reworked would be the new characters and either the EXE1 exclusives or the Ryuusei guys.
Unless you were expecting something completely new, which was extremely unlikely in the first place. |

I was so excited when i saw this on wikipedia... at first i was skeptical but then i saw pics on other sites. I thought they were gonna end Battle Network with 6. and its such a plus in my opinion that theyre going back to the original BN1-3 sprites... cuz i didnt much care for the 4-6 reinditions. My question would be how would they "remake" Battle Network 1 and still have the SF elements if all they were doing is remaking it? ah well i guess ill just wait till winter |

One question I just thought of. Who would the bosses be? Would we get Navis or FMs? Hopefully if they use navis they'll use some RMs that haven't shown up yet. |

i have thought of that and what i think is that there will be two games. in one you play as rockman exe and the other you play as subaru. if you pick the subaru game, you will battle em waves. if yoy pick exe, you will battle navis. but that is just an idea i have from what i have read. it could be wrong, it could be right. _________________ " ♥ ♪ you think you know his battle chips, ♪

Well, I'm thinking since this is a remake of an EXE game, I would expect the bosses to be NetNavi's. But, since time travel is going to be involved, it's possible that some bosses could be FM's. Maybe a mixture of both? _________________ My art blog: http://annamariacoppi.blogspot.com/

I sincerely doubt there will be two versions. Since they're obviously skimping a bit on the work here, I don't think they'll bother with two games from an entirely different viewpoint. That would be overkill anyway. |

They're probably going to have to redo one side or another, since EXE1's sprites are lot larger than those of the Star Force series. Star Force's sprites were around EXE 4~6's style.
And judging by the screenshots on the teaser CAPCOM page, its probably going to be Star Force. Lan and Mayl look exactly as they were in EXE1, while Geo look a little... inflated, if you will.
I'm loving the navigational map at the bottom screen. I've always gotten lost playing EXE 1, seeing I've never actually learned the routes. (Just wanted to play through all the EXE games to learn their story) |

i have too looked at the teaser page and the only sprite that jump at me as diferent is Subaru's face sprite. his sprite appears to be blocky and is a change from the round shapes i am used to with the games. since all othe sprites look the same as they used to to me, i think that they are going to go with a battle network style.
on the teaser page that reads 'rockman *nitsuite' (*it says this for the RnR page to. i am guesing it means something on the lines of Bio, story, or something similar to that.) (the first blue panel from the left) it shows a battle network battle stimulator being used. it just apears to be redone with more shading. _________________ " ♥ ♪ you think you know his battle chips, ♪

Face sprite? Subaru's mug is the same as in RnR3. It's his overworld sprite that was redone to match the larger EXE1-3 style. If you hadn't caught that this is a remake of EXE1 with EXE1's graphics yet, then you either haven't played the first game or have been smoking pot or something.
Also I don't get where you're seeing this "simulator." The only pics on the EXE page of the teaser site are screenshots from EXE1, which this is a "remake" of. |

i have not played rnr3 yet, so i appologize if what i said sounded terribly stupid. i figured that they would use the same sprites for rnr3 as they did in rnr 1 and 2 for subaru and the rest of the rnr characters and i was not aware that some of the sprites have been changed.
...hm...the shading of the graphics and sprites on the page seemed to be a little more improved on that page. because of this, i assumed the battle screenshots/battle stimulation screenshots might have been from the [to be realeased sometime in the future] remake. you are right, i have not played the first game yet, but i have realized where the sprite style came from the BN games. not to sound mean or rude but i do own some of the BN games so i reconized the sprite style fairly quickly. _________________ " ♥ ♪ you think you know his battle chips, ♪

Hey, haven't posted here for quite a while.
I saw some teaser pictures which imply that while this is an EXE1 remake, the Custom Screen is EXE2-3's "10 chips and Add", at least for EXE side. Which leads me to wonder if they'll also include the Navi Customizer or something. Would be quite interesting if that happened.
This also leads me to wonder how battling for RnR is going to be like. |

There is no change in the shading. >_< Not from what we've seen.
