Yes, Irregular Hunter was the one who claimed to've been stabbed outside of a courtroom defending his sister over something. It was very quickly discovered that he was full of shit. |

He wasn't a troll, he was attention-whoring with the intent of people giving him e-sympathy for an event that did not occur. The intention of trolling is to offend and/or annoy people.

I think I vaguely remember hearing things like that, but as I said, I wasn't around all too often at that time. My memory must be faulty. =/
Back on topic, I'm probably going to mention someone that will probably be a bit controversial. Who remembers the whole thing that happened with Jean?

It's also somewhat controversial but anyone else remember the ....er...for lack of a better term "Forum Wars" between EXEHQ and the site. I mean it wasn't great at the time, but eh it made things interesting.
Or that MSN website thing that had all that stolen stuff from the site (Sketch's sprites spring to mind, I don't remember what else) that we had to get Capcom to put pressure on because MSN didn't care that they had stolen stuff. (Or maybe I'm wrong on that...hmm)
Or heck, when I was a respected member of the community qualifies as nostalgia at this point

I remember that. I chatted with Jean a lot, but I never really figured out what happened between her and Hinoken that made him get banned. I tried to stay out of it, for the most part.

There were numerous events focused around Jean.
The basis of all of them, however, was something that wasn't exactly an unknown thing about Jean to begin with - she overreacted to everything. To ridiculous extremes. Anyone who'd been around back when she had the ability to revoke forum priveledges would know this quite well. |

He also claimed that he had a friend that was making real net navis. He was dubbed "the most hated member since RG".
Saw this thread and thought I should chime in since I was around in the old days. For me, the old days are kind of bittersweet. There were times that I had fun, but there were also times where I annoyed people by being ridiculous and trying too hard to fit in. Makes me wish I was as mature back then as I am now. But like I said, there are good memories along with the ones I would care to forget. |
