To everyone on REO:
I apologize to you guys for not posting as often as I used to.School has overtaken me and so has life.
But,I might as well get to the point.I will be going through some changes over the next few months to possibly the next few years.
No,Rian isn't getting a haircut or losing weight to simmer below that 110 lb. mark.
Technically,when you go to look at my picture on my website or the ones Ryouko took of me on here,you may or may not be able to tell if I am a girl or a boy.I have a rather androgynous body that makes hard to tell.
So,I have decided to go and change my gender.

Have you discussed this with a psychiatrist? Frustration with androgyny doesn't sound like a particularly good reason to undergo such a serious surgical procedure. Indeed, unless things have changed, such a procedure would actually have to be approved by a psychiatrist before it could be performed.

It'd be alarmingly stupid to assume the only reasons behind this decision are cleanly laid out in such an incredibly short post. I'm fairly certain the person has probably considered alternatives, and may or may not be aware of the prerequisites for the procedure. |

in the initial post there is not enough information to know what the reason is.

Let's not forget the whole pointlessly questioning someone else's serious life decision without knowing the whole story thing.
Though, it's less of pessimism and more of "I'm going to post in ways to make it seem as though I know things, instead of posting constructively or supportively for this person". |
