INTRO
ok. i started thinking about how there are a good number of 'favorites' topics, but none of them have to do with the games as a whole. so i decided to start a favorite rockman game topic.
the title itself is a little loose. Rockman has appeared in some games, and so, those may be included in you response if you please.
you may state a reason why you like the game, or just plainly list them.
for me, my game list is fairly short.
my list:
CAPCOM VS. TATSUNOKU
even though i only have played this game a small handfull of times, i love it. my two favorite characters to use in the game are a given, RockMan and Roll. the reason i like this game so much is simple. fighting game + rockman = awsome.
to bad the japanese version will only work on japases wiis... -_-;
BN4 : RED SUN
the reason for liking this game so much is due to the 3 levels of difficulty. (yay for roll soul unison!) usually the games serve me not much of a challenge, but this one allowed me to be challenge.
BN5: TEAM OF PROTOMAN
this one makes it on the list for one reason: the memory bursts. they have become my favorite training spots in the game.

I wouldn't be able to pick which EXE game I liked best, since they all hold different memories both within the games and what I was doing in real life as I played them. But definitely the EXE games. I like other non-EXE Rockman games quit a bit, but none of them would make my favorites list. |

EXE 6 - I love the cameo PA's. SunMoon = great memories of EXE4.
Star Force 3 - I don't know about EXE 3 because I never finished it, but SF3's story made me go O_O! for a good 50% of the plot. Most are from the later half.
EXE 5 - DS-wireless capable EXE game. Fun for netbattles against others. SoulTime+1 was also a good addition imo.
Megaman X: Command Mission - Megaman RPG. Need I say more? Not to mention, cel-shaded megaman looks sweet. |

i have heard nothing but good things about rnr 3. i might buy it after i find a summer job...
i have been wanting the japanese ds version of bn 5 for the longest time. my main reason for wanting a game that i waould have little understanding of is for the opening. hm...maybe reading all that (partialy foreing) text may help me in reading somewhat... _________________ " ♥ ♪ you think you know his battle chips, ♪

The EXE Collection has to be a favorite.
The double team ds Japnese cart is a fav due to the Django soul when Boktai 3 is in the Cart slot 2 of the ds. Also, the ds double team offered the two games in one for a great price. Unlockables are raining in this cart. I mean, just by putting one of the EXE carts, you can unlock side quests, liberation missions, secret mini games and even power ups. The only problem with these, was that capcom region locked them. That is why the japanese version of double team(Rockman Twin Leaders) is the best. 4.5 and all boktai games can be used. Also Forte Cross rockman can be used when a mmbn 5 game pack with the forte star is inserted in the slot 2.
Namco X Capcom for PS2 is a great game too. One of my Fav Tactics game. Great story line. Huge amount of characters to recruit and select.
Rockman Racing and Rockman Adventures for PSX with The Misadventures of Tronbone. These are unique in the Playstation releases and have a great replayability. Great stories are present for all and great character selection for adventures and racing.
The Original Megaman Games were too hard even though I was able to pass the first one on my NES. |

EXE 6 was fun, especially when you have two modes of transformation to play with. It felt good going into a powerful Cross Beast and ripping a boss to shreds.
EXE 5 DS is pretty good, too. Nice remixes, good touch with the voice acting (not the English ones, though), and the Party System eases up quite a number of battles. Gyroman Support during the Blues-only scenario was extremely handy.
Star Force 3 has a plot that draws in plotlines from the previous 2 games, and solves a few of them while they're at it. Not to mention that it looks on the mistakes made by RnR2 and fixes them well, along with several other systems that balance up folder building. |

Battle Network 6 was pretty fun both ways ;3. i thought the ending and the ability to fight ProtoMan FZ was fun XDD.
and...
Battle Network 3 was my first game, so i loved it for that and all the stuff you could do after the game including the secret area.
MegaMan Zero Two is my first zero game. i liked it so far for the diffuculty and the weapons system. it was really fun ^^. _________________

Exe4 has to be my least favorite.
Sure it had 3 difficulties (Exe2 had a higher difficulty too), but playing the same annoying minigames (I look at you cooking minigame) and scenario's 3x just to reach the secret area is just too much.
That and there was a lack of story.
Favorite has to be Exe2 for the EXE series, Star Force 3 and MM2. |

Battle Network is definitely my favorite MegaMan series, no contest. Out of it, I'd say that BN2 and BN3 are tied for my favorite story, and BN6 is my favorite for gameplay (although that is probably expected, since it's the latest).
My least favorite from the series would either be BN4 or 5. Don't get me wrong, I still like both of them. But BN4's story was probably the most lacking of the whole series. And I wasn't a fan of the whole turn-based chess style of BN5 liberation missions.
As for Star Force... Funnily enough, I've only just tried it out for the first time today. Literally. And I'm not liking it all that much. It's Battle Network with a new exterior, and I'm not liking the exterior. I'd rather have just gotten a new Battle Network installment. I'm still going to give it more time, to see if I like it better down the road. But I guess I just want it to be Battle Network instead of this new concept with these completely new characters that I don't care about (yet). _________________

Rockman DASH 2
No contest. This game is incredible, and really took up a chunk of my childhood. I'm sorry to say I never had the chance to finish it, as a scratch on my disc prevented me from going past the train boss level, but I've acquired a new copy and plan to finally complete it.
This game took everything that was good about Rockman DASH and ramped it up to 11. It was really just a joy to play.
BN2
BN2 was what really got me started on the EXE series. My brother had a copy and I wanted to play it so badly. When I finally did, I was blown away. It had amazing music, a great story, realistic dialogue, and it was a ton of fun. No other EXE game comes close, in my opinion. _________________

Battle Network 3, and not just because it was my first.
I was really heartbroken when I heard the opening title music change in 4.
Close second would be 4.5. Ah. <3
I also loved Zero 2 for Harpuia and Phantom. _________________ [Message Temporarily Off-Line] |

For overall, I'd have to say DASH is my all time favorite cause it was my first Rockman game and that I beat myself too. I have so much money. I love the vaccum cleaner!! Second up is Rockman X4 cause it had a good story.
For EXE: I'd say EXE 5 Team of Blues, cause you get to play Blues! XD
Best graphics: X8
Worst graphics: X7, but god it is horrible. _________________
