i'd wanna make a program like that when i get older, that's my life goal, but xbox is supposedly making t thing like that for the next xbox. of course, a navi would have to learn to identify all kinds of voices, similar to the phone thing that one uses to check flight schedules.

navi customazation would be the easiest part, just use the charactor designer thing in Phantasy Star Portable, the hardest part would be the a.i. but right now emotionless navi's are quite possible

all i can say is that i wish you luck on making the program complete if you do get the work started. i am the most technology challenged person i know of so i am sure you could get somewhere with you plan.
