Rockman EXE Operator Shooting Star Discussion

I would really love an entire remake of the anime, to fit more in with the games, but I highly doubt that'll happen... Although, it could be possible, since SF Rockman is in OSS... Maybe if it sells well? O_o

I really doubt they would redo the anime. XP I doubt they'd even continue it, but who knows!

I think the operator with red hair and the Hikari emblem is Patch.

If that is for the manga, then they might make a game series inbetween Exe an SSR. Which could lead to a possible sequel anime....

Couldn't they remake the exe anime like they are doing to Hellsing etc. Letting it 100% follow the manga or games???

They technically could, which would be really awesome, but I don't think it's right for it. EXE was really popular in Japan, but I think it still wasn't as popular as some animes that get a bajillion remakes and spinoffs and parodies. You would see it more often if that were the case. And I don't think many people have an issue with the original anime, so why would they redo it? I would love a reboot, but I'd guess Capcom's figured that it's not economically feasible. Sad

i rather not have them remake the anime, i would be interested in a sequal or a side series that was patch's story. he is only mentioned a few times in the games. most of witch i have known of are in RnR1.

i was thinking the child was patch. it is the only thing that he could be.
i guess that makes the navi behind him Rockman Jr.

That would explain the chibi-ish look of Rockman... but he looks exactly like normal Rockman in design terms. O_o

I'd be surprised if they actually tackled something like a story with Raito, since these things are usually best left mysterious, (like they were in EXE6. No clues or pics at all) but who knows. Nobody yet.

i expected to look somewhat lke roll.
you will understand if you know how rockman Lr. was created.
i thought he would look like something that resembled roll soul unison, not a mirror image of rockman.

Not sure if this has been posted yet but....OSS comes out in 7 days! I can't wait. but thats for Japan and in Japanese, *Sigh* any way, I sure hope it comes out in english...*hope hope* btw is it gonna come out in english or no details yet?

I'm just speculating. They brought OSS out of nowhere, and they talked about where they wanted to take the series, so frankly I wouldn't be too surprised to see EXE7. Though since they'd be coming back to it after SSR, I have a feeling the 3D overworld and 2.5D battles (3D models but sideview) ideas wouldn't be tried. :\

if they did make EXE 7, it would probably be patch's story. (taking that 6 was the end of netto's story...until now.) 7 (if made) may just have him as i character to help or to help complete a task.
if they made an exe 7, they might start up on the anime again. as in creating more ot if, nyaa.

Not necessarily. 7 could still star Netto. I'm sure it wasn't bam bam bam bam bad guys, oops, rest of my life is peaceful. Though I'd like to see a 7 starring Raito. Dunno how they'd manage Rockman Jr. without making him look and sound stupid. (Dumb name choice) They didn't wind down the series or anything, they just chopped it off because they knew SSR was coming out so they made an artificial ending. (That's why I get frustrated when people claim EXE ended. Ok, so it said "end" at the end, but it wasn't a real end. It would be like saying twilight princess ended the zelda timeline.) I have a feeling we would have seen more of Raito and company in the future if they'd planned for 6 to be the end from the beginning. :D

Even if they do revive it, I think the chances of an anime revival are slim(mer), no matter how much I'd love it. AGAIN, who knows? XD
