Whatever happened to the MMBN-themed emoticons? I know we had them before the board was hacked most recently so I'm assuming that data was lost ... okay, I just answered my own question, lmao.

Iiiii remember my first Otakon. That was pretty fun :D so crazy with you guys. Geez I was like 12! O_O Uhm... I remember all the forum wipes! Aaand...the RP forum of course. Zeo, Issac, Ed, and I all had the like hugest-spam-filled RPG. And then after that got deleted I made my own forum and we had an RP thing there >_> whoo. the joys of being like 13.

Holy Crap! It's Mari!

I remember when me and Rade decided to reform RPGs. We worked so hard at it. But the spam filled ones dominated everything. and like Rossui, he ran and left me holding the drill... I mean bag like the Simon I was.

I remember the AIM chat, when Malik tried to 'marry' me, but at the time I really had a crush on Foggy.

I remember THE "Hello Thread" was nice, and we should have archived that to go into the Guinness book of world records for longest existing thread ever.

And I remember... the younger crew! A lot of well known names were tossed around....I don't remember them too well... There was Zeke, and umm... that one chick...she was pretty young and had an avatar like that lady from .Hack. There was Foggy, me, Cloud...who got banned a lot as soon as the chat went IRCed, Malik, Starman, then Sketch, and the youngest... Iceman. Every day there'd be more and more people joining the ranks.

I remember meeting Rushpop, which ended up with me leaving this site for good until I felt the need to come around again.

Lo and behold....there's a new EXE game coming out! :U

Rushpop! I remember Rushpop. God I miss her.

I actually have more memories of IRC than of the board itself, but I have a few different memories. Like of the episode threads when Kids WB was airing Axess, or of Web's custom Met sprites, or the second time the board got hacked. Sigh, lots of memories.

I remember how ridiculously noobish I used to be. Posting recolored frankensteins, making amazing three-word posts, overusing ellipses.

Those were the days.

One particular REO memory that sticks out in my mind was MEGAMAN NT WARRIOR ONLINE!!!1!!!. I had a hearty laugh over that.

Another one is Iceman saying something I said was funny. It was unbelievably gratifying at the time, believe you me.

Also, there was this one guy who posted about meeting some gil in a restaurant who asked him about Rockman.EXE and people kept wondering if it was Ryouko.

EDIT: Good lpord, rereading this thread nearly killed me with nostalgia power. I remember requesting a bazillion avatars from Mari (I think...?), Irregular Hunter's hilarious Net Craze comic (And the amount of controversy surrounding it), the fact that Ryouko's old CT "Where's MY Danish" became a bit of a meme between me and my school friends...
This was really the first forum I ever got really in to, but unfortunately after the old boards died I never could connect with these new ones.

Believe me, I will one day, and meet up with you guys. It's way easier now that I live in Ohio instead of Florida.
I won't be dressed as a kobun, though. I'll probably just be dressed as myself in a cool hat or something.

I just remembered this place today and decided to come pay a visit. I remember this was one of the first forums I came on when I started branching out from just what anime was shown on TV.

I guess I haven't been around much because I've moved on to other things, but I still love anime and I still remember all the fond times I've had on this forum. To me this is a very nostalgic place, and one that I do enjoy returning too.

I miss all the discussions we had on certain episodes and Axess when it was released, it was the most wonderful experience ever and I will never get it again except in torrents.

Who was the guy who did those hilarious recaps of EXE episodes, complete with pictures that had funny captions? All I remember is him(?) reviewing one where Forte falls off a cliff and the captions were "Don't Do It! You Have So Much To Live For!" and "Oops."

Nah, for some reason I think it might have been PlaguedOne, or Irregular Hunter. I'm probably completely wrong on this one, but that's what my memory is throwing up.
