The thing I can't figure out is that why is there an Asteroid Airman, when at the end of ep 51 of the first EXE series, navis that were swallowed by Gospel (Airman, Thunderman, Blues, etc.) came back anyway? Did the writers actually forget that Airman is still alive?

Hmm, maybe if they didn't really forget, they could have Airman and Asteroid Airman meet up and duke it out or something... Howaaah. XP

I haven't watched all the episodes, but yes, I do know about Asteroid navis. I do think that Asteroid navis are navis fought in past series brought back to life (with the exception of Yamatoman). But, if you watched the end of episode 51 of Rockman.EXE, Airman, after being swallowed by Gospel, came back to life, as did Thunderman, and Blues. How can Airman be brought back to life as an Asteroid navi when he was still alive?

The entire episode involves [spoil:a3bc662e26]an army of Airman's!!![/spoil:a3bc662e26]

After this, is it really so hard to believe that Asteroid Airman can co-exist with the original Airman?

It's a plausible theory, but Enzan kinda throws me off. it would be more likely that the Ameroupe representative would be Barrel, because isn't Colonel from there?

That could be true, except for the fact that Barrel is already dead. We saw his funeral in Episode 8.

...whoa. Barrel died in Stream? o_O;;;

But wasn't that guy an old man? What if Barrel was his son or something, and now he's "inherited" Colonel? Besides, isn't Barrel in the Stream OP? He has to show up sometime in the show, right? <_<;;;

According to those in Japan, the old man who dies in Episode 8 is in fact Barrel. I believe this somehow is more explained in the movie as well. If you remember, when Stream first came out, it defined Netto's journey as one through "time and space". We've already seen the introduction of "Past Vision", where Enzan and Netto experienced flashbacks (also Episode 8, in fact). This will probably come to play a more important role later on in the series.

...oh, yay. Time traveling. I suppose that would explain why the old guy seemed to recognize Duo...:P

Josu and I were discussing Pride's DUO-ing last night. We thought it was because Pride destroyed all the Airman copies. .-.

What when did they prove that? And don't drag time and space into this. They also said NeoWWW would be selling Dark Chips and we only saw that happen once. What's the point of mentioning something in a plot summary if you're only gonna do it once? Maybe they'll sell more later on but really.... Also how do we know that they're the same? For all we know, they could be related and have the same name. Like Barrel Sr. was the old guy and Barrel Jr. is Colonel's new net-op. This whole him being a younger version of the same guy makes it sound like he's gonna head back to his original time-stream continium at the end and that means possibly no more Barrel in the future. (Should they make a 4th season.)

My head hurts...

So Barrel is the old man who dies in episode 8 with the ancient viruses, but because of past vision, Netto meets Barrel's past self (the guy in the op) and they team up to take on Duo again?

...Typical Anime craziness. I always thought the Barrel would be a relative or heir of the old guy. But he actually IS the old guy... Please understand if I find this hard to grasp.

Even if Barrel is dead, his past self could be the Duo crest representative of Ameroupe. There's no rule saying they have to be from a certain time period.

Yeah, they're writers now. >.>

But
Technically, Airman did die in the Alegro episode.

All this crap about Barrel and Dr. Regal in the movie is just confusing the hell outta me. Is this one of those times where you HAVE to see the movie to get what's going on eventually in the show!?
