This is my newest post in a while,so let's get the ball rolling:

What new shows do you think will last to the next fall season?
What new shows do you think will be saved by the fans?
What new shows do you think will not last?

Returning shows can be used for these questions too! :D

Here are my picks:

Renewed for 2010 Fall-Accidentally On Purpose,NCIS,How I Met Your Mother,Criminal Minds,CSI:NY
Saved By Fans-Three Rivers,The Mentalist
Not Lasting-The Good Wife

Have fun and feel free to share thoughts and such!

I'm not familiar with most of the new shows, but the ones I have seen would fall under:

Will Last: Flashforward; I get the feeling the producers have managed to get the show a guaranteed full season, and if they manage to keep up the same level of quality throughout that time, then another season is almost a sure thing.
Saved: Glee; fine for now, but the premise is just not that interesting: most of the characters are such stereotypes and the whole thing with the insane wife faking a pregnancy is just WAY too whacked-out to sit well with the networks. But if nothing else, the fans are going to practically DEMAND more of those damn-fine musical numbers. Hell, the whole show just feels like an excuse to put together some crazy and flashy musical numbers.
Won't Last: All of those ridiculous, over-hyped and over-dramatized reality shows. Well, I wish, anyway.

I think Glee is pretty much set. It's already getting high ratings and Fox seems pretty intent on keeping it around and promoting the hell out of it, so unless something happens and it suddenly takes a sharp decline I'd personally stick it in the first category.

And that's all I'm actually watching this season since Hell's Kitchen ended (and it's already confirmed for more) so I can't really comment on the rest.

The only things I'm really looking forward to are the renewals of, as Starry mentioned, Hell's Kitchen and perhaps The Amazing Race. It's really what I watch on TV anymore--I'm not a big fan of the dramas and other genres.

One of the most exciting prospects that I saw recently was a FOX remake of a British game show, but not only have I seen the network drop it in favor of a half-assed attempt at replicating Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader?, but I also see a rival network ripping off the concept in another show. Wonderful. My only hope is that some other network has the sense to pick it up--it has such a wonderful concept and seems practically idiot-proof.
