Sheep Man is just like Toad Man.

The intro seems kind of... far fetched. "The infected robots started taking over world" or something along those lines? It would make more sense for them to just malfunction and rampage.

I think they're trying to tie into the X series.

Inufane already replied in a recent interview that MM10 isn't the final game in the Original series, nor it will tie in with the X series.

So, it's 28 Days Later + Megaman.

I see nothing wrong here.

As long as we don't get zombies, I'm ok. Hate/fear them so much.

Toadman and now Sheepman always struck me as ironic. You're anthropomorphising animals and then tacking on man at the end. It seems...redundant?

The plot seems flimsy but I never really rate the plot as an important element really. In a MM game you're there to run, slide, jump and shoot. Text is a superfluous optional extra.

Still haven't played Mega Man 9... or 8 or 7 or 6... (goes on counting backwards) or even the first Mega Man for that matter. But meh, worth a shot, especially since I recently got a PS3, and already own a Wii. I'll play both 9 and 10 for now, at the very least. This makes me wish I had a NES and/or a SNES, though...

You do know they have some of the old games on the different shops and the previous gen had all the games on compilation disks right?

Oh right... totally slipped my mind, lol. Yeah, the classics and X collections are definitely big on my want lists. Can't seem to find them on sale here, in Dubai, where I live, though...

I suppose I could order them online when I'm bothered.

Dubai. Right. That would be difficult. You're going to have to go with online ordering.

I just hope that Bass/Forte will appear in 8-bit form.
Makes me wonder what he did during MM9....

Some more new stuff came out so I may as well make a full post out of it:

http://www.themmnetwork.com/2010/01/13/corocoro-reveals-mm10-robot-masters-official-like/
http://wii.ign.com/articles/106/1060921p1.html

First link has official art of all the Robot Masters from Corocoro, while the second one shows off their sprites and a couple screenshots each, and goes far more in-depth on each of them. Enjoy!

Well, They're wrong about Solarman but I still think Sheepman is the best.

Whole ton of new stuff, but one particular point of interest from the preview:

Quote:
Interested parties will definitely want to know that Time Attack gives away the fact that there are eight stages apart from the Robot Master levels. Is this indicative of there being two end castles (ala Mega Man 4, 5 and 6) instead of just one? Only time will tell.

Well, It's out now on Wii in NA and the other two will follow soon.
I'm pretty sure I saw 8-bit Bass and Treble

You certainly did.

Bass, Endless Mode and three extra stages were confirmed as DLC, and you can see the sprites of Bass and Treble in the instructions.

Additionally, it looks like Enker, Punk and Ballade are gonna show up as the extra stage bosses.

Well just beat the game today XD Though am kinda disappointed, with some of the Robot masters>_>

Most of them you can defeat with just the Mega Buster alone, and some not so much. So yeah I think, they tone down the difficulty in this one, than MM9.

But still, enjoyed the game very much^_^ Time to beat the game as Protoman.

Just to let you guys know, I had this on Normal lol XD

Well, every Mega Man game is pretty much like that when you get down to it. I found the difficulty about the same as 9 so far minus the dick moves.

You could try hard mode though, I've heard it makes a pretty huge difference.
