(Ahaha... I'm actually kinda nervous about posting
this... it's my first topic post in forever... ^^; )

So, I just have a question. Does anyone know if there's
any official art of any of the human characters in
Battle Network 6? To clarify, I mean the non-main
human characters. Chirol, Mr. Match, etc.

Just so you know, I've checked TMMN, some MegaMan
Wikis, Google, and nothing really comes up for the
human characters... I know there's some of Chirol
and TenguMan's NetOp, but I've yet to find a site
that has all of the art for all the characters in one
place. :/

So, is there a MegaMan site with all the BN6 official
art in one place? Or am I just being stupid and wasting
my own time? I'd really like to know. Also, feel free to
call me an idiot if I missed some glaringly obvious
source that I should have used from the beginning.
Because, really, I'm an idiot like that. Sad

It's because in previous artbooks, they were all cut off busts of the official art and not the full body. Or they had various text and other graphics which lay over them, so it wasn't easy for anyone to scan and touch-up properly. To my knowledge, most of the guidebooks were that way, too, or they just weren't all in them.

For whatever reason, when EXE 6 came out, it didn't seem like there was quite enough of the official art to surface, via press kit or otherwise.

My copy of the EXE OCW is on it's way from Play-Asia, so when I get it (hopefully this week) I'll see if I can scan any of them for you. I assume in this book they'll finally be easy to scan.

Ahhh... okay. Text over the art,and some of the art
missing, that certainly explains it. :/

Hooray for EXE OCW! Feel free to scan some pages
if you have free time. Y'know, wouldn't want you to
cut work just to scan some art or anything. Smile

(To be honest, I'm debating with myself on whether
or not to buy EXE OCW online, or wait for it to be
translated into English. I heard that the same
company who handled the translation of the Zero
OCW is also going to translate the EXE Works. But
given how long it took them to translate Zero, I
wonder if it's worth the wait... :/ )

OK, I'll wait until after work tomorrow when my weekend officially starts. Cool

My copy just arrived today, and it is wonderful! There is plenty of official stuff that never made the light of day on the net, along with more concepts that weren't in any of the three other EXE artbooks. There are still some pics that are unfortunately too small for my liking...the book seriously needed to be R20 size, not RnR/Zero OCW size. :/ But it's still great. Expect me to start with a few tomorrow, but a heavier sampling Sunday.

(... there are three EXE artbooks? I thought there
were only two! O_o; )

Okay, thank you so much for taking you time to
scan some pages! :D

EXE no Subete, the more complete guidebook. EXE no Himitsu, the secret concept art book. And the Character Picture book, which was the only one of the three with virus images, but the worst one for art overall. And the smallest of them.

I know I haven't done Shuuko's page yet, but this should be most of the humans from 6. Characters are mostly in order by game from 1-6. But if they were in multiple games, all of their art is grouped on the page for the first game they were introduced. Hinoken is the example here; all of his official art is bunched with EXE 1 characters. Also included in this post are the first few requests I had at RPM:

You don't have Shuko's page yet? Darn.
One thing though. How old is Mrs. Elec? How old is Count Elec in the first place.

OK Haly, Shuuko and Dingo are now scanned, so that should be all the NetOps, other than say Netto's and Enzan's. But I think those have been on the net before. Also a bunch of other requests are in here, so you can view some of the LoN, PoN, and other character artwork from the book. All 4 special artwork pieces at the end of the book are also included:

And @Unknown Neo:

If I could translate their blurbs in EXE no Subete, I might be able to tell you, but I really have no clue. I thought some of the characters had ages listed in that book if I remember right from a thread here that was posted years ago. But personally, I couldn't say for sure.

Miyabi, you've made me happy with your scans once again. More Dingo picture material to enjoy!

Perhaps you could get to Tomahawk? Though, if all his art is the same from Himitsu, then you don't need to bother scanning that: I have that book.

... oh my GOD, thank you so much Miyabi! :D

(Ah, EXE no Subete is the only one I'm missing,
then. I have the other two. no Himitsu I got for
the concept art, and I only got the Character
Picture book because I thought it was the only
other one... ah well, at least it serves as a good
reference book for all the viruses... ^^; )

Once again, thank you so much for taking your
time to scan these in! I really appreciate it! :D
(Yay Hinoken EXE6 art!~)

All the anime-only Navis make me squee. :D And little people! Though that Netto one looks really messed up. O_o I love younger Shuuseki wtfing at Barrel's Progress PET. I like that one beta Iris's hat, but I can see why they didn't go with her.

why is mariko looking at netto's crotch in the last pic wtf (but it makes up for it by having mary (or 'marie') and shun in it)

Sadly, yeah, the only official Tomahawk art is his EXE5 Colonel art. No other variations. However, I believe there is new concept sketch work. Because I don't remember the more mature, Classic-looking concept in Himitsu. Then again, I haven't looked at it in a while. But here's his page anyhow:

And for anyone who wants a summary of the book, I've now posted it with a few other samples at both RPM and TMMN.

Hahahaha, I didn't realize that until you said it. I'm not going there...

Yeah, the bottom concepts are new, but otherwise yeah, mostly Himitsu. A shame really.

Oh! Here's one for ya: how about the Cross Fusion concepts?

Well, I already gave you half of them. ;p That was in my second picture post; Page 159. And here is the other half of them:

Ah, I must've missed that. Thanks for Round 2 then!

I'm still rather fond of CF-Magnet. I really like how they fit Magnet's design around Tesla.

I also like all the CF designs and almost wish we got more. And I don't miss the idea of CF-Number. CF-Toad?... Maybe.

Nice, been looking for more of the cell phone game art for a while.

Kinda wish they went with the concept designs for some of them, I really like the older looking Tomahawkman/Goggle Blizzardman.
