what happened to my previous nic?

For those who do not know, I was the previous Kicker.EXE, and I hadn't
logged on for a while so I didn't know about the format change, so recently I tried to log on but my username and pass weren't confirmed.
and I checked the member list and Kicker.EXE was gone. Did this happen because of the change?
