Has anyone else gotten this wonderful art book yet? It is absolutely amazing, one of my roommates was holding it for me when I got home.

Looking through the first couple pages, I saw new promo art and the cool thing is, this book shows you different concepts of said promo art. It's also pretty amusing to see the proposal scans for [the then *new*] Rockman.EXE . . . World Three was to be called, "WWPO"? Ahahaha, pretty awesome.

If you can shell out ~$40, I strongly encourage you to pick it up!

Wait, seriously? That sounds intriguing.

And, for that matter, does this include all of the character designs (official art, sketches) up to the 6th game, or what? Because if it does, I definitely want to find it; I've gone too long as an EXE fan without any paraphenalia D:

EDIT: Looked up two sites that had it - PlayAsia and HobbyLink Japan. If you don't mind, would you tell me where you found yours? :o

I'm pretty sure Rock Miyabi scanned some stuff earlier. I'm also getting my copy soon.

@ Nazne - Yeah, it has sketches and official art from ALL of the EXE games, even the NPCs. Oh, and after looking through more of the book last night, I found 3 different color combinations for Bass Cross Mega Man [blue, purple, and red!].

You know the contest NetNavis [Swallowman / Footman / Cosmoman]? The original fan-sketches for those are included. I got mine at Play-Asia btw.

@ Malik - You won't be disappointed! Unlike the other 3 EXE art books, this one is taller [think of magazines] and has almost 200 pages.

Malik - where'd you get yours from? o_o

I'm also hearing rumors that Udon Entertainment might be picking this up for translation soon, but I can't be sure, and their site only talks about their "new relationship with Capcom" and artbooks for the X and Original series. Do you think it's worth it to wait for the possible English version?

Whoah, that'd be pretty awesome. I'd get the book anyway, and then get the English version [if it comes out] for the juicy details.

I also got mine from Play-asia.

IT depends on how much it would cost in English. if it's dirt cheap, then hell yeah. If not, I'll just go to borders to look at it or something XD I didn't bare psychotic Japanese teachers for nothing Neutral

dammit, I'm broke right now or I would definitely go order it. I need a decent art reference for most of the EXE characters - don't want to go all over the internets looking for them. D:

...damn. I haven't seen that before, but that's 1260 degrees of awesome right there. I didn't actually expect the anime to be so heavily represented, either D:

It's a shame the four group pictures at the end are the only ones. But if you don't mind, would you look through the book and see if there are any vaguely new illustrations of Enzan, Laika, or (R-)Searchman? Many thanks.

Here are the official art and concept pages for Enzan and Laika. The only R-Search was already scanned in that other thread. The anime only had a few pages, and R-Search only had that one art piece.

As far as Saito, no, not much of anything. The concept page had the only full body piece, but there really isn't much of anything to work with. Official art just has that one headshot which is used for the Saito Batch chip:

BUT WHY IS BARREL SO AWESOME.
