Hm. Looks like things are mighty dead around here, neh?

For people who don't know/remember me, I'm Achie. (I really need to change my name here now that I know how Japanese works. Embarrassing that I called myself "san" because I felt "chan" was overused)

I was basically this kid who swooped in about... 6 years ago (Shizen, 6 years?) and wrote a bunch of fanfiction that got deleted when the site crashed. Sadness. After that I mostly hung out in IRC channel, but then I started living life and the chan mostly was dead when I checked. I think I actually posted a little art here when I first got a scanner and was like "omgzlookwhatIcando!!one11!!!two!!!" That's pretty much all you need to know for background.

Anyway, I recently found out about the EXE1 remake and thought I'd pop in to see the fanbase's reaction. Seems fairly mild. Where's all your passion, EXE fandom?! D: Did Ryuusei suck the life out of you kids? Sad day!

I must say I'm pleasantly surprised that I noticed some fairly recent... ish posts by people I know. Hi, guys! Been a while, no? I'm thinking I'll be visiting here a bit more often mostly because after all this time my muse started kicking in and reviving my passion for EXE. I'm still determined to some degree to see if I can rebuild some old fics I wrote way back when. Although, by now I've lost pretty much all the original stuff so... it would all be from scratch if I did. *shrugs* Here's to hoping.

First off, welcome back to REO. Smile

Second, the EXE 1 remake was a real let down in the end...
It was just a version of EXE that could play on a DS and had
slightly better mugshots for a select few characters, and an
extra mission involving the Ryuusei Rockman that didn't have
as much of an impact on the story as we thought it would. :/
That, and they're not releasing it in America.

But ah well, that is sad talk! Happier times are probably ahead,
although many can say with confidence that the EXE fandom is
dead... Sad

I thought it was still possible that they're bringing it over. Oh, well, can't say I'm surprised, but I'm still happy that the EXE series isn't 100% dead yet and they are making games even if only as remakes. I was looking forward to using the bottom screen as a PET like in the double team edition of 5... Mad

Anyway, that's disheartening to hear that the fandom is fairly dead, but at least I've found one person thus far. XD It's strange that the fandom exploded so quickly. I mean, think of the games like Final Fantasy VI that only had one game and still have a ridiculous fan base. I want Rockman fans to be more stubborn/devoted like them! Let's do this. >:F

Heyhey, welcome back! ^^

Yeah the fanbase is pretty dead, but I still find a lot of fans out there every now and then. =) I am very upset Operate Shooting Star didn't come out in the US, but there's really nothing we can do about it, unless Capcom changes their mind about it. >>
Come this summer I hope to have a few EXE-themed projects lined up along the way (they won't be out this summer, though, I don't think). I would say what they are, but I don't want to ruin the surprise. >> I've been planning them for months now, and I want to keep them a secret until they're fully ready. XD lol I am, though, making them interactive with the fans, that way, everyone can enjoy them. =) Perhaps then the fan-base will get a little more active? XD Who knows. lol

Misspelled? D: Hm... Oh, well, I don't really care enough. People should get used to it from me. XD

Anyway, it does seem that after a game/series goes quiet it's mostly up to people with good art and writing skills to satisfy people's cravings for more. Let's try to feed the fans. If CAPCOM won't, we will. :D

Pretty good, Poochy. I've just been at school... Although yesterday was pretty crazy. Certainly not what I was expecting at all. It's easiest to explain in script format:

Achie: Ok, beloved-car-I-bought-3-months-ago-with-money-I-had-saved-for-3-years... to the interstate! I'm coming, campus, study groups, TAs and other valuable sources of knowledge for my tests and final project!

Guy: *running around (YES. RUNNING. Not DRIVING.) the second lane of traffic on Interstate, gathering stuff that fell off his boat while driving* This is a good idea! :D

Car#1: Padestrian!? On the INTERSTATE?! O__o *slams on breaks*

Car#2: We're STOPPING!? O____O *slams into Car#1*

Car#3: I'm pregnant! My baby is due in less than 2 weeks! *slams into Car#2*

Achie/Car#4: Yay, onward to campu--WHAT THE FU--*slams into PREGNANT WOMAN* Huh... That wasn't so bad. o.o

RV: *CRUSHES ACHIE*

Achie: WHY!? x___X

Car#5: *smashes RV just for good measure*

Achie: *can feel the hit* CRAP!

Guy: ... Yoink! :D *flees the scene*

Medics: Your back hurts! Let's go to the hospital! :D

Achie: o__o *strapped to board and flung in ambulance* ;___; ... Well, actually, this is pretty comfortable.

Hospital: *MAKES ACHIE STAY FOR 6 HOURS* btw, you think it bothers you now? Your back will make you want to kill yourself tomorrow! :D lolz

Achie: ... *still hasn't done her project* *still hasn't studied for Organic Chem* *New car is possibly totaled* *insurance will no doubt be going up* ... I'm hungry. ;-;

And that's pretty much how yesterday went down. And they were right about my back; my bruises have bruises. >_>; Oh, well. At least I eventually made it back to campus.

Wanted to say hi, I just recently got back into EXE myself. You probably don't know me snce I never posted, only lurked. But I know you~! *feels vaguely stalkerish*
