Poochy: The Days Inn double booked the hotel. Apparently they let people reserve rooms outside of the Otakon block, and only just now realized it. If you reserved your room through Otakon website's PassKey system, then you're fine (which is what I did). If you called the hotel directly or used the HOTEL'S website though, it's pretty likely you lost your reservation because they will only be honoring the rooms through Otakon's contract (otherwise they would get sued).

I'm alive... sorta... kinda... well it's still too early to say, I could be dead after all.

Otakon's going to be... weird for me this year. I have to save up for both Otakon and Celebration 5 (which is 2 weeks after). Not only that, but one of my other managers is requesting off. So I'll be able to hang out with the exception of Friday morning thanks to work. And it just so happens, I'm his transportation to the Inner Harbor Thursday to get his pass.

Still I've committed to saving up for Otakon, so keep me up on a hotel, it's just that I'll be AWOL Thursday night and Friday morning.

Crap, this probably is the nail in the coffin for me. I was just checking my reservation and accidentally canceled it! Oh well, couldn't convince any of my friends to come anyways. Unless someone suddenly has a space (Hah! Like that will happen). I always seem to miss when you have a space pop open Ryouko.

Completely off topic but is there any other conventions there is a major Rockman get together? Major scare factor with my friends going to Otakon is the $700 airfare.
