But they left some clues about him in the Anime itself (or possibly none.). I even think I was expecting Saito to appear and learn about him, but no, it left him in the games.

I would've happy if the Anime version is based on the Game, of course explaining some plotholes that it had.

EXE is one of the few Rockman games that don't have super ridiculous, gaping plot holes that don't make any sense. There are some, but none that you can't assume or weren't at least intentional. I don't know if I wanted the anime to fill in anything so much as expand on the story. Like give a little background on some characters or show more about the situation. Like Wily's rivalry with Hikari Tadashi. <--Both characters which were also pretty much forgotten after EXE despite the rivalry supposedly being what sparked EVERYTHING. This is probably one of the top most depressing facts about the anime to me.

A CGI EXE movie. A good one.

But... awesome.

At least an OVA that sticks to the games.

I would love to see more, but it has to disregard elements from the previous series for me to actually care:
1. Disregard the "Forte is Pharaohmans" remains
2. Disregard Cross Fusion (or introduce something which makes it impossible to ever use it again)

I think they should make some Direct-to-DVD movies like DC is doing now (Wonder Woman, Batman/Superman Public enemies etc) and release some stand-alone stories like:
Forte's manga/game backstory
Serenade/ForteGS fight

Also, not counting sidequests, they could almost put an entire game into a movie.
Rockman(100% DNA Synch) VS Lifevirus
Rockman VS Fake Forte/Gospel
etc

donuts? lol, well at least it's amusing XD.

not sure why there's not a lot of love for crossfusion, i thought it was interesting. now if there were episodes more about that character's pasts or in the future of the show with the same character, that'd be interesting to see also.

Wow, I haven't been here in a while.

Anyways, I think I'd only want the anime to continue if they pick up the Saito thing. Otherwise... Mixed feelings based on how it turns out.

I might be dreaming here, but I would like Capcom to do a crossover anime between Classic and EXE. (A game could work too, but an anime would be nowhere near as complicated in terms of design issues, and would likely be much cheaper to produce.) I can imagine it generating quite a lot of laughs through character interactions, and who knows, it might just unite the Classic and EXE communities. Maybe raise the sales of both series' games, to boot.

It would be nice if they continue the anime in some way. Like others have said, they should included back story on Saito and stuff.
