@Hecxz and Dingo
I'll probably bring my 360 like last year for games and movies, that and Hecxz can finally see how awesome he is in NHL. If I can I'll borrow a copy of SSF4. I do have one of the Fight Pad's for 360.
And yes, much MGS: Peace Walker action.

Just curious: what is the earliest everyone will be arriving? I think my flight is coming in around 130 on Thursday, so I'd be there by 230-3-ish. _________________

I will be getting to the hotel around 3. The hotel won't let me check in for our rooms until 3 anyways. :P So I suspect everyone else will be hanging out around the lobby until then. _________________ "Cats are interesting. Probably sometime around 1. Usually though, I go to lunch after storing my stuff. _________________ Rumack: What was it we had for dinner tonight?

I should be arriving around 2:15pm, so I won't be at the Hotel till around 3pm as well. I'll most likely SuperShuttle unless I run into one of you guys and steal a cab together and split the fees _________________ -Follow me on Twitch.tv-

Well, I am officially committed to going. Just booked my plane ticket; should be getting in around 1:30. Hopefully I can get downtown quick enough to be able to run around for food. Quick question, anyone from room 2 able to bring extra bedding? Don't want anyone sleeping on the hard floor but I don't think I'll have room.(stupid having to pay for bags) I might be able to sleep on my costume but it might look a little funny after.
Now to just finish my costume. I plan to enter it in the Hall contest but I'm debating on whether to settle in novice or try journeyman. I've never won an award, but all the drafting I'm doing should count for something. Do they post pictures of who won previously anywhere? _________________ Fear the scarf! I'm going to try to make it and actually stay long enough to join the festivities.
Needed to sort out some things and take a break from the fandom for a while to recollect myself. So, now that's over it will truly be nice to see everyone this year. It's been a while! No cosplay this year for me. I'm going to just lazy about and have some fun without the preparation.
This year's tournament sounds like it will be fun to watch! I'm glad to see the faithful fans still going the lengths to keep up the traditions of OtaRockman. |

Days Inn can provide extra bedding if need be so don't worry being shorted. As for beds, there's normally 2 beds and as the gentlemen I am. If their are ladies present, they get dibs on the bed and Hecxz sleeps on the floor.
There should be plenty of room for Six (would even be more awesome we get the awesome party rooms from years back *sigh* Might be a little clutter, but that's con life!
I don't think Otakon does the Hall costumes, but they do private judging and I believe do a runaway style showoff as well. _________________ -Follow me on Twitch.tv-

@sugoi sukafu: They do have a hall contest. :D I'm thinking about getting into it this year. Novice applies to everyone who hasn't won any awards, I don't think they would count other things. You could email and ask them, though. _________________ ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀

Sigh, I might do that. I was in the costume contest a few years back and the judges mentioned that novice is difficult to win in due to the shear number of entrants. I'm just really frustrated with my local con and would love to show them up by winning something. At least Otakon's contest seems relatively fair. Do a perfect job on a simple costume and they will notice. My local judges always pic the costumes with hand painting, applique or lots of layers aka Trinity Blood. I swear it's the same people every year.
@Hecx Aww, that's sweet of you. Sorry if I seem a spaz; I just try to worry about these things well in advance so I can enjoy the weekend more. _________________ Fear the scarf! It's a mite peckish at the moment... |

Don't worry about it. Shouldn't sweat the small stuff, i'm willing to be crammed up and sleeping on the floor just to get this chance each year to get away from everything to see everyone and enjoy the convention. _________________ -Follow me on Twitch.tv-

You'd be amazed at how comfy the floor can be. _________________

Floors are very comfy... sometimes.
So... once again after paying Ryo and the pass, Link's plans for Otakon (and the convention after) are up in the air. I just found out my boss got fired. I have no idea what's in store for me now. Hopefully I'll find out this week and everything will go as planned.

Less then 26 Days away!
For sure i'm bringing for the room is my Big Boss PSP with Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker so me and Link can rock our armies out together, hopefully we get some more people into it
(Hecxz does have a brand new spare copy, trying to sell for $30)
Also I'm bringing a few movies like the fan made MGS: Philanthropy Chapter 1, Eddie Lebron's Mega Man, There Will Be Brawl, and some Mega64. I have the Zelda: Hero in Time, but I wasn't too big on it, felt like it went on forever and dragged, especially the beginning of it.
Any handheld games I should bring or suggestions for movies or whatnot.
Also do we know who is bringing the Wii with the Megaman games and the Endless Battle modes purchased for the Tournament? _________________ -Follow me on Twitch.tv-

I guess I'll be getting the console action going, since Smash Bros. in the downtime always makes for fun. _________________

Okay, the tourney's going to be MM9's endless mode. As a final check, who's going to bring the console? Dingo?
Also, if you're interested in playing lemmie know (if you haven't already). I'm going to *try* to get trophies made.
For the room I'm in: do I need to bring any pillows or anything? I can sleep on the floor, but I need to know in advance. XD _________________ Rumack: What was it we had for dinner tonight?

Terra: Nah, you'll be sharing a bed with Tabbies. :3
