No idea if it lives in this community, but I thought I might ask.
As a total surprise, Holland just defeated Brazil with 2-1. I was somewhat convinced that Holland would lose, since Brazil is such a soccer powerhouse. I am totally awestruck now XD; Now I hope we'll make it farther. Next opponent is either Uruguay or Ghana.
So any thoughts on this whole soccer business? :3 _________________

I'm from (North) America and we don't pay attention to Soccer. Heh heh
But even my girl down in South America doesn't care about it. She hates one of the players. |

I've never really followed soccer. I follow American football a little more, but even that is just good background noise while I work to me.
I like to watch the big games when it comes to sports. So I guess it shows how on the ball I am since I didn't watch the World Cup.
I doubt any of my TV channels would get it anyway. |

I was surprised to hear that Italy got knocked out so early.
Brazil began with a leg-up, but as soon as Holland started scoring, they sort off fell apart.
And just now, Germany pretty much annihilated Argentina with 4-0. It's as if there is a curse on South America ^_^;;; Spain VS Paraguay this evening. I wonder who will win this. _________________

Yesterday, Holland won against Uruguay in an incredibly intense match. Today will be Germany VS Spain to decide who Holland's opponent will be in the finals on sunday.
I'll definetely be watching that, even though soccer usually doesn't interest me at all XD; _________________
