Also, Tabby thought it might be fun for all of us who can't cosplay to wear met hats. XD that would be hilarious at the panel. |
You could all duck behind the table with only your hats showing, and then whoever is talking pops up and sat down normally. _________________

You should have little pickaxes or something.
Oh, to Ryouko Tabby and Marissa.
As a Show of friendship (Seriously, my trips to Otakon probably wouldnt be as fun if I hadnt met all of you back in 2003), you three, along with Rubychan, are getting mentions in BNZero as netops for the four Friendly Netnavis in game you can netbattle. Now you can chose which of the four you girls wanna operate, or leave it up to me.
Incidently the four of you will be known on the net as the "NetQueens" The top Female NetNavis in the world!
The four Netnavi are
CrashMan.exe (Breaker) - Operated by Tabby
Splashwoman.exe (Elec) - Operated by Marissa
Hurricaneman.exe (Wood) - Operated by Ruby
Paladinman.exe (Recovery) - Operated by Ryouko _________________ "Dont insult the Fanny Pack! Real NetNavis wear FannyPacks"

You could do like me, check the party stores around for plastic hats that resemble the Mets and spray paint them to look like Metool hats. I'm going to redo mine and fix it up and will hold up better.
I will be in my Megaman Product Placement camo for this _________________ -Follow me on Twitch.tv-

@All of Ota-Rockman at Otakon this year!!!!!
Posted today at the Otakon website
Several very important registration announcements!
By: Bob Klemens, Director of Logistics and Operations
Otakon pre-registration will end at 11:59 PM EDT this Friday – July 16. Your transaction must be fully complete and paid for before 11:59 PM EDT, or you will not be able to pre-register (you can of course still pay at the door). Do not wait until the last minute! We are not responsible for any technical difficulties that you or our server may encounter, and cannot extend or override this deadline. So please, if you want to pre-register online for Otakon 2010, do it as soon as possible!
If you have pre-registered for Otakon 2010, you are highly encouraged to bring your confirmation email (with the barcode on it) to Otakon with you. This year, we will be using scanners to look up your member accounts, which we hope will help speed up the pre-registration pickup process significantly. As a means to reward those members who do bring their confirmation emails, we will have a “Barcodes Only” line for Thursday night pre-registration pickup. This line should move quicker than the normal pre-registration line. If you did not print your confirmation email/barcode when you registered, you can view it online and reprint it any time by logging into our Members Only section. If you don’t know your member login info, there is a link on that page to have it emailed to you.
Official hours for registration are posted on our Vitals: Hours page. You may notice that we will be opening Thursday night pre-registration earlier this year. Starting at 3:00 PM and running until 11:00 PM, and with additional terminals and staff being brought in for the Thursday night crowd, we are hoping to process all of our Thursday night pickups in record time this year. Help us accomplish this by having your IDs ready, deciding which badge design you want while you are still in line, and of course, by bringing your printout with barcode on it.
Pay close attention, this part is important: In the past, Otakon has given free replacement badges to any members who lost or forgot their badges. The system was abused by some, and in an effort to combat this, we have implemented badge replacement fees. If you lose your membership badge, you can check with our Lost and Found department (behind registration) to see if it was turned in. If it is not there, then you will either need to leave the convention to wait and see if somebody turns it in, or you will need to purchase a replacement badge. Replacement badges can only be purchased if you have proof of your membership – if you pre-registered, then we have your name in the system, so you’ll just need your ID to prove it’s you. If you registered at the door, then you’ll need your payment receipt and a photo ID. The first replacement badge that you request will be $40. If you lose your replacement badge, then every additional badge that we need to reissue for you will cost $75. So please, be sure to keep a close eye on your badge. Do not take it off for photos and leave it on the floor. Do not attach it to yourself in a way that it will fall off and get lost. Make sure it is secure and with you at all times. Also, keep your receipt if you pay at the door, because that is the only way to definitively prove that you have purchased a membership. We are unable to issue refunds for replacement badges, even if your lost badge is found later.
---------------------------------------
So, first off, hopefully everyone has pre-reg, cuz Friday is it! They open Thursday at 3pm-11pm for badge pickup
Second, everyone PRINT YOUR E-MAILS with the barcode so we are out of pre-reg faster and have time to do more stuff
Third, KEEP YOUR BADGES SAFE! Otherwise your losing $40, or if you do it again $75! OUCH.
Figure I'll give you all a heads up....

Cant wait to see everyone. Progress on the game though has halted abit cause I need to hear from Tabby and Ruby on which Netnavis they'd like to operate, Hopefully I'll get answers in time to get some more work done. But yeah, I hope to have a good product for everyone to enjoy even if it wont be finished. But if I work hard I'll deffiently have it finished by next otakon as prehaps a prize _________________ "Dont insult the Fanny Pack! Real NetNavis wear FannyPacks"

For anyone who cares (which is a long shot, lol) me and Doc are wearing Netto and Laika down, so if you spot our loveable idiot with a rock.exe DS fat hanging out in the lobby, you found us. _________________ ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀

Never got a reply back from Tabby or Ruby so, in order to continue working on that demo and show off as much as possible for otakon I'm assigning Tabby to Crashman and Ruby to Hurricane man.
probably how it would have ended up anyway I guess. Ah well!! See you guys in two weeks! _________________ "Dont insult the Fanny Pack! Real NetNavis wear FannyPacks"

I'm debating, I've been against it before, but should I dress up for Pre-Reg, I was thinking of doing a simple Product placement camo for Snake for it, though it would be hilarious, especially if i'm using that product in line.

Aww, that's too bad Seru-kun. Myself, I'm bouncing off the walls. My Alia costume is complete and ready to go but is now causing me a bit of an ethical fix. I barely got it done for a con I'm at this weekend but ended up winning my first prize for it. Which by Otakon rules disqualifies it for their costume contest. But with only a week left I really don't have time to make a new costume and the only other one I have is Meiru-which is a bit simple. I am thinking of messaging them and asking since I will be making some changes. Or should I just drop the whole idea? Otakon's Costume Contest is just so much more fun to be in and the judge's were so nice when I when with my Zero outfit.
Don't worry, Alia is coming regardless. The reaction at this con has been amazing and has me pumped for Otakon. People know who I am supposed to be, wanted pics even when I was missing pieces and the voice actors at a panel I walked into had to pause and compliment it. _________________ Fear the scarf! Dude, I am so pumped to see your Alia, SS. Thank you for giving my life renewed meaning;_;
Once again, thank you Hecxz. I'll be sure to print out that confirmation.
So how many people are confirmed to be cosplaying and as whom? Just curious. I don't think I'll be taking the Tsukasa costume this year, but I would like to catch everyone at Otarockman anyway. |
