try to focus on the anatomy and proportions.
use a book or a pic as a reference if you don't already.
i still do that.

Been some time since I looked at your work. You've improved on your proportions, which is good. I don't know if I said this, but the hair on your characters or "models" seem more poofy. It is the only thing that I disagree on, but I praise your hard work wholeheartedly. Is that meant to be intentional?

and these two are recent ^^;
the difference is what i used to outline them
for the 1st one, my dip pen. for the 2nd one, two different technical pens and a sharpie.

I see a drastic improvement so far. You kept well to proportions. I really like the Roxas one.
I must ask though, was the pointed shoulders intentional or just your unique style?

thanks~ I wanted to draw some kingdom hearts fanart, and roxas was fun to draw. but his hair was impossible >_<
