If either of you want, I could try and translate some of those doujins. I can't guarantee the quality or promptness of my work (especially since I tend to have trouble reading small handwritten kanji), but I'd be willing to try and give it my best shot.

...i'm surprised I can at least translate a little of the doujin lol XD
and anyway, we could always do so via e-mail

also can't wait till more doujin arrives~~~ of N X E of course ^^
yay for ebay!
also i haven't played with my PET for ages, really should get around to that (and beating network transmission)

I always try to make a bit of sense out of it XD
You could also scan and post the pages on something like Photobucket and PM me with a link. That way, stuff remains private too ^^

Alrighty ^^ Yeah, I've had about four years of practice and still going. Being a University student Japanese means that I had to invest in an electronic Japanese dictionary as you're pretty much up creek without a paddle during exams if you don't have one. It allows quick look-ups of words and (most of them) have a writing pad that enable students to scribble kanji down. I need it to translate properly X3

So take your time and send me any stuff you're struggling with. See if me and my dictionary can help out X3

As for now, this topic is digressing seriously ^_^; Back to the subject at hand now.

After seeing that awesome sculpture work of Laika here, I feel tickled to try and make some unofficial merch again except that I need to find time to do it XD

Plushies sound awesome! How about amigurumi? I always love to see creative people making all sorts of fandom-based plush work. Kinda pictured an amigurumi Mettool or something like that XD

Amigurimi are handknitted stuffed animals from Japan. If you Google the word, you'll get examples straight away. They're often made to resemble cute, round, fuzzy animals or fantasy critters.

And I'm kind of tickled to try paper dolls again, now that you mention it. Just need some inspiration as to what characters to use X3

i just should save up to buy some supplies from jo-ann or something, but i've always wanted to make a netto plushie *_*.
and oh, you should do paper dolls~~
some people and their paper crafts are awesome. very nice indeed.

more on topic: there are tons of random artbooks of Axess and stuff on ebay, too bad shipping is like 20 bucks. lol. and the busting navi selection (color version) looks cool too~~

Oh. That. Ok. I remember that. Those are nice. You need to make one and show us. Takes a lot of talent to do that.

I...seriously need to teach myself how to sew one of these days. I'm not even going to *look* at amigurumi, I have no idea how people embroider like that, but I'd definitely like to be able to work with the soft and squishy as well as with clay.

Because, honestly, Laika plushie.

you fangirl, you

I've seen some books and instructions on amigurumi, but I honestly think I would be too impatient to do that. I cannot even knit despite my mom's attempts to teach me XD But still, owning a handmade plushie of your favourite character would be so awesome.

And yes, Nazne... Laika plushies would be instant favourite over here ^-^
