Oh lord, this series just seems...... weird... and entertaining. 
But I can support that fact of there being a lot of fans: Ever since the series started, nearly every cosplay update I've seen in my e-mail inbox has a cosplay listing for Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt.

It would certainly not surprise me if there is a fair amount of Panty & Stocking related cosplays at anime conventions this year. I'll keep my eyes peeled at Abunai upcoming summer.

I've seen a listing for a Demon Sister cosplay as well. I forgot what site it was on, though, and I don't think I can link to it yet.

I've seen cosplays with weapons at Abunai often enough, just as long as they're fake and don't contain metal objects. But it might be wise for Panty and Scanty to keep their weapons to themselves if you realize what else disappears if they draw their weapons XD;;
And yes, Demon sisters cosplay would be awesome too!

I just finished episode 7 yesterday but I have to wait til tmrw night to head back home. There's a crazy snowstorm going on in Boston right now.

You're not the only one dealing with the storm. I had to shovel after the storm for two hours today!
