So hey! Apparently Mega Man Universe is canceled

While normally I'd be disappointed at the canceling of a Mega Man game, this gives me perverse hopes that they'll either a.) redirect efforts towards Legends 3 or b.) start working on an online game for the one series that actually has the in-story-justification for it.

I do, however, hope that this will help with Capcom's overall earthquake recovery efforts, and that none of their other games suffer. If they were going to cancel anything, MMU seemed as good a game as any.

Still got to wonder if this is an April Fool's joke (on Capcom's side, not yours), since it's just SO close to the date, but I guess we won't find out for sure until a little later, eh?

But... Doesn't really effect me since I had no plans on picking this game up anyway. It does sort of give me hope though that the merchandise they gave out for it already will become collector items. I did manage to get my hands on the foam buster they gave out at Comic Con last year, so at least I got a little bit of something to hang onto from it. XD

usually i'd be sad at a rockman game being canceled...but this one didn't look to great and appeared fan-made and not in the best sense. honestly don't mean to offend anyone who liked the game and was looking forward to its' release. ^^
