Your sprites... they are... in a word, pathetic. Sorry to say, but they insult me. And judging by noticing no one has argued with me yet, I guess they agree, for the most part -_-;

It actually wasn't a personal attack or an insult. Just a normal statement. I didn't mean to offend anyone. Hence the pre-statement "Sorry to say." I know spriting is hard, and I can guess he gave it his all. I was just giving my opinion as a critique. And for Pitchums, I only have one sprite to "put where my mouth is," and it is my first sprite from a long time ago. Unfortunately, it is the only one I ever uploaded.

Feel free to insult it if you feel it is bad. I have a bio of him somewhere. I will find it. Not that you probably care. The allignment of the links on the chain rod sucks. An error of mine courtesy of my PSP7 settings. I am sorry if I pissed anyone off >.>

[EDIT] Also, I took the liberty to circle the reasons I don't like the sprite. Some of the most essential parts of spriting are emotions. Plus the circled arm just irritated me >.>

As you can see, the faces lack emotion, which lowers the overall quality of a sprite, and the arm on the third sprite is completely flat. What, do his wristbands disappear when he extends his arm? Next thing, the fourth sprite, the handle of the recoil rod is like 2 pixels and both are the same color. That is just something that bothers me as a graphic person. The last thing is the links on your chain rod. There is energy between those links, and you only put little gray dots. I commend your effort, and I hope you forgive my discourtesy. My appologies. Dude, its not a good idea to post your own sprites in someone else's topic just to prove a point.

and maybe you were a bit too harsh. Give him some pointers and show him where he went wrong and how he could change it.

and your sprite definately needs work too. -_-;

[1] I was told to "put my sprites where my mouth was," so I did.
[2] I appologized for being so harsh, and I did give the pointers, hence the image witht he circles and the text beneath it.
[3] This was my first ever sprite, and It came out just like I wanted it to, except for the chain rod. And just like you said, give pointers, don't just pop off. I'll make a thread if you like.

I'm sorry, that's my fault. I should've said something about putting your sprites where you mouth was in your own topic...

Second, if you'd given those reasons for your opinions there never would've been any problems at all. Many of those have been mentioned already - or had been prior to the forum hacking.

If you are asked to post your sprites in someone's thread, it's ok. I've had to do it a few times when someone asked to see a particular Soul of mine. ^^;

the chain rod, i totaly forgat that it had energy between the dots XD
abd as for the recoil rod, i'll fix that.
