IIIII DOOOOO!
I went to the midnight launch for this. It was a relatively painless process, the GameStop I usually go to was super efficient in getting people in and out.
Ahh, I absolutely love this thing. I got Super Street Fighter with it, as that is the only launch title that seemed worthy of purchase. I'll certainly be looking forward to E3 though ... Star Fox (and the other awesome 3DS games launching at that time) is going to steal my summer away.
I had some skeptical co-workers, but they all want one now, lol.
My only gripe is that Nintendo is not interested in the hobbyist developer ... because of this, there is no way for us to experiment with some MMBN stuff with it (at least until the web browser comes out with the system update). Here's to hoping that Capcom will have a momentary lapse in judgment and gives us more Battle Network. Highly unlikely, but I will hope. _________________ Avatar by Tabby (of my NetNavi, GuincoolMind.EXE) : : :

I got the 3DS the 26/02. Yeah, Europe wins.
The 3D effect is stunning, but the 3D Volume at max makes my eyes burning. _________________

I showed some friends the 3DS and they liked it but complained of eye fatigue. I'm starting to feel like I am the rare part of the population that is not effected by it. _________________ Avatar by Tabby (of my NetNavi, GuincoolMind.EXE) : : :

I've heard a lot of people say it doesn't bug them.
I think it's one of those vocal minority things.
But even it if it's not, as long as Nintendo keeps making games to justify my purchase... XD |

I...wow, my DS Lite's really lasted a damn long time. It's surprising.
I fully intend to get the 3DS - but only when Legends 3, or an equally-anticipated game, comes out. I played a demo at Best Buy, and while the graphics were astonishingly pretty, it really didn't seem to warrant immediate purchase to play Pilotwings Resort on (even though that was fairly fun too!). Besides, I'll probably end up waiting for a new iteration (3DS Lite?) and a somewhat less steep pricetag before purchasing it. |

My launch-bought DS Phat is still chugging along fine and has great battery life. :O I've been fine with it for the DS generation, so I'm sure I will be with the first iteration of the 3DS generation too.
*Hopes for magical moment of BN revival on 3DS* |

I will be getting it at X-mas with the Mario games. Between now and then, I'll be conspiring about the power of the 3DS compared to the Wii and why some games are on the first and not the second. |

i really, reallywant one...but the price. $250 for it...it seems to steep. that's $70ish more then the dsi and it's $90 more then the ds lite. i still want one for the re-release/remake of splinter cell one.
my guy got me into the series. ^w^ _________________ " ♥ ♪ you think you know his battle chips, ♪

Got mine. Freakin' amazing. So much stuff packed in, let alone the games they'll be making. I've had no headache issues. Sometimes when I'm flying with the airplane in Pilotwings I'll tilt the 3DS a bit when it's not turning fast enough, and the 3D effect'll go wonky, but that's why there's a slider for the harder missions. XD
Stoked for MML3. |

@Saito-kun : I think you're right about the "vocal minority" thing. Also, Pilot Wings and most of the other launch titles seem like glorified tech demos ... also known as, a waste of money.
@HeatShadow : Hell's yeah! It's a great upgrade.
@Nazne : Are you interested in Star Fox 64 or Ocarina of Time? I love Star Fox and I've never actually played any Zelda game, save for the original, so I will be getting that game too. MML for sure!
@Unknown Neo : I sure hope the Mario games come out well before Christmas but seeing as how the same team who made Super Mario Galaxy is working on the 3DS Mario game, I will wait as long as they need to polish it. _________________ Avatar by Tabby (of my NetNavi, GuincoolMind.EXE) : : :

Well, It's Mario so the games will be pretty much top notch. Also with the Kart games. |

I'm waiting on it. I'm just not seeing anything that really excites me yet. I want the NES and SNES type games, but this seems to be more about the N64 and Gamecube games. _________________ Red Green's words of wisdom:
