Yeah, I do like someone. But he doesn't like me the same way but I know deep down he has romantic feelings buried somewhere inside him. The problem is that I asked someone I knew to help us get together and then after she promised me, she backstabbed me and stole him for herself.
And yes, I have a handle (I should seeing as I already had my first gig). I'm DJ Gospel.
Oh yes, and my latest slough of fandoms include Kateikyo Hitman Reborn!, Pokemon Best Wishes! (which is actually quite GOOD!), Digimon Xros Wars, and Vocaloid. I've cosplayed Tsuna so many times that we've developed a running joke among the local anime community. Every time I say I'm going to do something, someone shouts "LIKE A BOSS!". |
I actually meant you liked anyone Like the examples Wiki gave me.
But that's a good name. Just make sure no one mistakes you for a religious DJ if you're not one.
For whatever matters, I am a White guy who likes girls. Not too white, I'm in the middle (not from England or New England states I mean). |
It's actually pronounced the Engrish way, so it sounds more like "Go-spell". My name is actually derived from NetMafia Gospel. I picked it for three reasons and they all tie in with each other. Firstly, I'm a DJ in the anime community. Secondly, Rockman.EXE was the anime I was currently watching when first went to an anime con for real (as in stayed for all 3 days). Thirdly, Battle Network 2 was the first EXE game I played and I loved absolutely loved Gospel (actually we all know it was really Shun I loved, but he also had the guise of Shuryou Gospel). _________________

Things have changed a lot for me in the past two years alone or so. I moved out of my parents house in February of 2009 into my own apartment, then my parents sold the house I grew up in all my life in Texas, and they retired and moved to Wisconsin. I stayed and worked in Texas until November 2010 to save money, pay off my car, etc, then moved to Wisconsin also.
So now I'm here in Madison with a new job, new state, and starting all over again basically. I'm sharing a nice townhouse apartment with a girl I met online currently. But it is nice being a lot closer to my family, even though I still miss my brother who is back in Texas. BUT, it is nice being much closer to Nobi now. :)
I'm still in love with the Rockman fandom (curse you delay on the EXE Complete Works!), but real life just sucks up a lot of my time and energy. I work a job that almost requires overtime and is very physical, so by the end of the day I'm pretty much done. I do have weekends off though so I'm going to be able to finish up the Beast+ fansubs then get going on Stream. :) _________________ "Cats are interesting. They're kind of like girls. Well, conversely, I wish I had some work experience. I've yet to make a paycheck, which is rather irksome, although I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised in this economy.

Um... because it's awesome? Well, there's also the first game getting released in Europe back in January (yes, even an English release, though the US has yet to get squat >_>), which seems to have garnered a lot more attention for the series lately. _________________ Math problems? Let's see. Pretty much the same thing I've been doing for the past few years. Work, try to rearrange the house so I have more room to work in, work on fanfics, try to get motivated for art, try to find time to work on cosplay outfits, try to lose weight (the ever-loosing battle,) find time to play games, find time to watch anything. Find time to do much of anything, actually . . . Time is in very short supply, unfortunately, and so is money (stupid economy.) Oh, and trying to keep a fanclub (multi-fandom organization that is dedicated to charity work, events and costuming) alive since it's splinter when we voted in a new president . . .
And now that I've finally come down sick enough to miss the equivalent of a whole days work yesterday and with no insurance had to pay through the nose for meds, yeah . . . life hasn't been fun recently. Hopefully it'll turn around soon and I can get back to working on things.
I have about three months until I go to PortCon and I don't have a fully working costume yet. I was hoping to get a big costume ready (I was thinking of Armored Armadillo from the X games, but I don't think I can get it done in that short of time.) I was hoping to get Forte.EXE's outfit ready, but that's on hold now, so it seems like I'll have to finish shoring up my Dingo outfit and fix the wig (since it died on me last year) and get the tomahawk finished and the PET done and I'll be set with one costume, at least. _________________ It's better to know a little about a lot than it is to know a lot about little.

I've got to thank the Battle Network 10th Anniversary news that's been going around for bringing me back to this place; I'm honestly kind of surprised (and pleased) that there's still some activity going on, things died down so much after the series ended that I figured this was just sort of the end of the forum as well and drifted away.
Myself, I'm currently moseying my way through college, working on getting an Associate's degree in Education. I work as a writing tutor at the college (which is nice, since I can leave work, walk up a flight of stairs, and go right to class) and have been there for about 2 years now. I still write, though I've started branching out from fan works and into some original stuff.
I got into World of Warcraft about a year and a half ago, which ate up a good bit of my attention (I know, big surprise, right?) and I ended up leading a guild for about half a year. Didn't work out so well, but, hey, it was a learning experience.
I'm afraid my story isn't as exciting as what's already been posted so far (moving! graduating! sexuality! geeze guys, way to make my life look super-boring by comparison. ) but I figured if we're going to play high school reunion, I might as well join in. _________________ Stuck In The Middle With You; a Metroid and Halo crossover

Ah, I never knew this thread was here but since it seems to be popular, I suppose I can contribute a bit about what's been going on with me ...
- I quit my gawd-awful job at Target last October and got hired by the flagship Converse store in Boston a month later. Talk about awesome.
- Started being more social and as it turns out, I am often the life of the party ... go figure.
- Online classes with the University of Phoenix for "Visual Communication and IT", which is the fancy pants way of saying, "graphic design".
- Released more music and got a mini buzz going.
- Made some musical and design connections via my job. Turns out, the world loves Converse to death.
- Made plans to move back into the city. Let's hope it is a reality this year.
- Pre-ordered the Nintendo 3DS. I will be attending GameStop's midnight launch tomorrow night. Word. _________________ Avatar by Tabby (of my NetNavi, GuincoolMind.EXE) : : :

I've been working for the last year and just waiting for the next Otakon.
Also been working on Projects in RPGMaker XP. One is my Dungeon Hunters Sequel, and the other is a remake of Castlevania 2. Still need one more character (I let my firends create the characters for Dungeon Hunters) To properly work on DH2, though the remake is making steady progress.
Sadly My computer fried last year, and I lost the Megaman.exe rpg i was working on _________________ "Dont insult the Fanny Pack! Real NetNavis wear FannyPacks"

i don't have much to say other then i'm finishing up my first year of college (pierce [community] college) and beginning to get good responses with job apps so i might have one soon. other then that, i've been making trips every so often to see my friends and my boyfriend. (i'm defiantly the luckier one.) haven't quite decided on what i want to do so i'm just getting my GE outta the way. i'm thinking about going into art, music, psych, science, or foreign language. i've been leaning towards psych and being a couples therapist lately. always been interested in that kind of stuff. _________________ " ♥ ♪ you think you know his battle chips, ♪

Hey guys~, I'm back! For a short time..
For starters:
~ I have not decided what I'm going to do for college, which is gonna suck once I get into senior year. Stupid scholarship papers..
~ My mom wants to move everyone to one town should my brother get a job at a plant in that town. This means uprooting me right in the middle of the time I actually get involved in my school (namely my Theater Arts section) and right before I get my letterman jacket and patch for UIL One-Act.
~ I'm so loaded down in cosplays and crossplays that it's not even funny, and my grade situation is not good in Dual English..
~ I'm still as lonely and dateless as before, and it's starting to really bother me in the fact that I daydream about guys I've never even met nor know about in some form. (Why yes, some of them are fictional. Don't judge me~..)
~ I really need a job and a better attention span right now...
........ I totally just ranted and complained right there...... I'm sorry!!
So, how is everyone? :3 _________________ "Well, at least I'm not the only one with a crush on a eleven year old." "But isn't your crush dead-" "BUT THERE'S ALWAYS HIS 'FAHJA'!" "You're stupid." "And you're a walking contradiction!" "So are you!!" "DAMN STRAIGHT~!!!" |

I've been replaying my Megaman games recently, started thinking of this place, and finally decided to drop by and say hi for a bit.
My life situation has certainly changed a fair bit since this board's heyday. When I first joined this board I was 15. Now I'm 21 and come September I'll be a senior in college. Kind of surreal, really, to think that within the next two years I'll finally be out from under the protective umbrella of education and family home and on my own. It's a little scary, I'll admit, but nothing to do but face life head on, I suppose. I do want to stay more in touch with my friends, though. I've never really bought into social networking like Facebook, or twitter, or what have you, so I'm sure I'm missing out on some stuff. I'm still pretty laid back, maybe a bit more passive and occasionally snarkier now than I was before, but I feel that I'm still very much the same person I've always been.
Hobby-wise, I haven't changed all that much. I still enage in doodling artwork, still like to read science fiction, still play video games (recently I've gotten into the Shin Megami Tensei franchise, and I'm currently saving for a 3DS), still a closet anime/manga nerd. I've actually gone back to writing too, having left fanfiction long behind and now I'm working on an original story that I'm posting on a different forum.
Fandom-wise I'm heavily involved in the One Piece fandom. I've sort of followed in Seiko's footsteps in closely following the different artstyles and whatnot of the animation directors for that show's anime, and I'm a mod now on Arlong Park. So Internet-wise I'm still going strong, though I plan to cut back a bit come the new school year.
Lots of things have changed for me since I first came here, but that's just life. Take care, all you old friends and acquaintances, and good luck with whatever comes your way. _________________ ' I don't care if the buzz isn't real- I can roleplay being drunk!'

Well, I am currently in 2nd year high school level and turning 14 on first week of September.
(Happy birthday to me in advance! Joke!)
If someone may ask "Did you even go to middle school?", well here is the answer:
The basic curriculum here in the Philippines (my country, "Pearl of the Orient Seas" hehe) is currently pre-school (Nursery, Kindergarten & Preparatory, ranging from average ages of 3.5-6.5), elementary (Grades 1-6, average ages are 6.5-12.5) and high school (1st year-4th year, ranging from 12.5-16.5) excluding the college, depending on the course.
I've been very busy lately, yet I can still manage to go online. I am currently watching various anime via YouTube and also some cartoon series. I am also active in Facebook and Twitter. That's all and pardon me for wrong grammar. _________________ FoodmanEXE aka IceKun

At the moment, I am in a tense moment of awaiting the results of a final exam I took yesterday. If I pass that, I'll be able to collect my Bachelor degree in Japanese. First need to make all the grades in order, though (yay for administrative business)
After that, I'll try and see if I can go for a Master course in English translation, but first; summer vacation XD _________________

Been working at Old Navy and with Avon (though selling Avon isn't as much fun D:. it's all about the money and benefits, and that's no fun at all in my opinion). Anticipating College *hears a scream in the distance* for an Associates in Biology. Might do double major for Chemistry also, considering I want to take two Physics courses anyway (and they're pretty much the only thing segregating the bio majors from the chem majors in terms of required courses). oh! and summer stuff. it's sad how i don't really have a life outside of school in the summer XD;. just partying, going to the pool, sleeping, and working occasionally (my hours are okay. only about 5 a week, but it's better than nothing i guess...). _________________
