Otakon 2011 - Pull the Fire Alarm!

We will do our best to keep the crowd in control. We will limit Q&A until the end of the panel (this year we'll be dispersing the raffle throughout the entire panel in bits, so it's not all one chunk). We do plan a small segment towards Legend 3 (since it's technically the same discussion topic we'll be covering), but it will also be at the very end so we can get through our other stuff first.

Not much to discuss on Legends 3 now that Capcom canned it. Best we can do is whip ourselves into a mad fanboy frenzy about them canceling it

Hopefully we can all be mature about this at the convention during the panel and maybe show a brighter side, a side that they can actually see and maybe reconsidered and renew the game or something brand new.

You could also pass this article along at the panel. It's only a rumor, but at least it oughta show Capcom there's plenty of potential customers.

By the way, Hecxz, are you planning to film the panel again this year?

Well I was talking to a friend of mine last night about new possibilitys of Legend 3's cancelation. And he brought up an intresting concept.

The fact it was on the 3DS could have been a factor, apparentlyt its not doing too well and other games that were for the 3DS had been canceled

Quite honestly, I'm over my rage of the whole thing. Yes, I'm still upset at the business premise of the entire thing, and I still want a real explanation. But we're all here to have fun and support the series as fans. Acting like rabid animals over the whole thing is not going to solve anything.

In fact, if we are going to film the panel, we should all be as civil as possible just to show how mature we are about everything. Support, don't rebel.

EDIT: SO I guess I will be bringing the ceremonial Wii for the Endless 10 contest, hmm? That's fine since I was planning on bringing my systems anyway. Razz

Back home safe again, after the trek home from Baltimore and Otakon. :) Flights went well, though the second was delayed and basically had no air conditioning. Oh wells. T_T I did finish watching Canaan during it though, so that was good!

I swear, this year easily rivaled the first year(s) that I had the pleasure of hanging out with most of you folks. The photoshoot this year was absolutely immense - having the Three Doctors this year made for a very entertaining touch, and the Endless Attack tourney was extremely fun!

Oh, the panel was particularly awesome as well! It's sad that the last item that had to be mentioned there was MML3, but such is reality...

Here's looking forward to 2012, now - which is already (according to discussions) shaping up to be the Year of Difficult, Bulky Costumes.

You can do it Dingo! Group cosplays are always cool. Not sure if I will be attending this year—but I say that every year. Still have my room booked already just in case. Actually, the main thing that would convince me to scrape the money together would be to participate in a group and Ryouko is really tempting me to do Searchman.exe. I’ll have to see if I can pack his gun before I make any further plans.

There has been an Otarockman 2012 thread started over on Cosplay.com, see link below. Shall we keep it at the same time/location as before? The backlighting from the windows was a bit annoying but at least we were cool.
