Has anyone ever heard of this (http://www.weusecoins.com/)? I stumbled across it yesterday while browsing the Space Collective site.
As I looked through the site, the concept of bitcoins instantly reminded me of zenny. I found it quite interesting that the *value* of these things are backed by supply and demand. _________________ Avatar by Tabby (of my NetNavi, GuincoolMind.EXE) : : :

A purely digital international currency is an interesting idea, but this one's valuating system seems a bit vague.
If you have the right computer hardware, your computer will try to solve a complex calculation, and that creates money? Guess you have to have some excuse for selecting who gets to have the newly minted coins. |

Valuation of this currency will be entirely based on the supply/demand for processing power
(people have heard of buying up powerful 6xxx GPUs purely to farm bitcoins!)
