Honestly? I think they draw a Navi's name out of a hat, and then draw an episode about that Asteroid Navi, conveniently throwing a plot into it as they go along. That's the ONLY possible explanation for the randomness to the Asteroid Navi apperances. ~~;

Wow, so Barrel is already dead? So what, is he going to come into the present from the past now and stuff?
Stream's storyline is becoming a bigger pile of BS the more I hear about it. |

I have a question about that screen attachment that Laika used, what exactly does it do? Does it increase Searchman's range or searching abilities just like Raoul's Elecgrip increases lightning attacks?

More than likely, it's called the Search Scouter. I really don't know what it does, but I am prety sure it does something to that effect.

Here's a bit list of the accessories so far:
Hit Point Grip : Netto's black custom grip. Although soon to be replaced by something else....what it does is pretty much self explanatory.
I have no idea what Enzan's grip does...
Elec Grip : The Elec Grip belongs to Raoul and adds a bonus to electric attacks. This means more power to Thunderman's Elec Beam and Thunderbolt (does he ever use Stormcloud Thunder in the anime?). Although I'm not sure, this will most likely help Elec Chips too....
Search Scouter : The new screen attachment for Laika's chip. From what I see, it basically acts like a radar for the PET. It assists Searchman's autosearch ability by giving program and navi locations within a certain radius. You know those lil radars in first person shooters??? This is basically the same thing.
You don't need the movie to understand Stream itself...you only need to see it if you want to understand what happened with Regal and how Barrel appears.

He is the present day Colonel. Navis don't age. Colonel first met Rockman and Blues in Ameroupe while fighting the Trilobyte viruses. This is right before Barrel dies. After that point, Colonel is left as an solo navi.
Hmm, never heard any mention of the Speed Grip, I'll see what I can find...

The anime and game are very inconsistent in comparison to each other. I already answered this question the first time you asked it....

Not at all. He's just a dark recolour.
However they do take ONE thing from the anime in EXE5, the essence of the Dark Chip, that three-eyed grinning black flame. It appears during the purification of Protoman/Colonel. |

Well I finally saw this episode and it's now without a doubt become one of my favorites. The concept was nice, and used one of my favorite bad guy NAVIs as the selected Asteroid. Plus, the animation was MUCH better than usual, in fact I don't think there was ANY reused footage in that episode whatsoever!!...and I don't care what you guys say, Raika + Pride = EEEEEEEE!!!!!!!11
...Route...yay a replacement from Aki...and Brightman gets to actually DO stuff this time! YAY! |
