Otakon 2014: The Final Year

Hey peeps! This will be the last year I am organizing rooms. Nobi and I aren't sure yet if we'll be returning next year, Otakon's getting too big for its britches and it's hard to enjoy it anymore. We should all pick out a smaller con to start going to so we can still have funsies. :3

I am now accepting room payments from everyone. I need everyone's monies by August 1st. If you cannot make this deadline, please let me know and I will work with you. My paypal is fefnir@gmail.com

Room 1: $155 per person (This room is booked Wed-Mon)

The final Year? Aww ;.; But Otakon is like the only one I actually go to, I really cant afford to do multiple. ;.; I hope we can still do this cause meeting you guys was like one of the best moments of my life

We are hoping to decide on a smaller con to move to instead. We still want to be able to meet up, but Otakon has just gotten too big and it's hard to enjoy it anymore. I shouldn't have to wait several hours in line just to see one event. :/ It's too expensive of a trip for a lot of us to then not get to enjoy the con.

Aww, this will be the last year? I'm in the same boat as SdazVarence. I'm really gonna miss our gatherings, and I probably won't be able to fly out to another con. ;_; I really hope everyone still goes in future years, even if you don't all room together.

At the very least, I'd like to stay in touch with everyone. I know the forums and IRC have been pretty inactive the past couple years, but you're all still my friends.

Darn, I decided not to go this year since my roomie backed out. Sad

hope you have fun this year. Is anyone going to Dragoncon? I decided to try it out.

Hey guys I'll probably be holding some board game sessions at Otakon this year gonna bring several along. I'll either host it down in the game room, or have it at my hotel where we can all enjoy a little bit of privacy and quiet friday and saturday starting at about 8 PM and going all night.
