The Lord GOD: Elpis

Thank YOU CAPCOM!! when I first heard the amazing voices of the characters, it really moved me, especially Copy X, since that is just so the perfect voice for him...

anyways, I can't really understand what the frick they are saying, reckognizing the voices is quite easy, and I can hear some of the words, but overall, I don't have a friggin clue.

does anybody have a full translated concept for most of the drama tracks if not all? I would be very thankfull...

anyways, concerning Elpis:
In Clockwork Apple, Elpis enters a "Data room/ruin" and mentions crier/crea, he turns on the monitor, acts like he's shocked, talks about the Dark Elf, Docter Vile, Omega, Baby Elf, and the Reprogramming of the Mother Elf, he ends up with "Project....Elpis!" project Elpis? wtf? my question is, was Elpis intentionally used to awaken the dark elf, if not even built for it?

also, in Zero2, Elpis yells some battlecries here and there, but I have no Idea what they mean...
from what I could understand:

1st:
Aizen kiyoh [when he uses the Dark portal]
Hokumidga [when he uses the Drain Circle]
??????????? [when he uses EX attack]
??????????? [when he blocks]

2nd:
Motot Skaravou [when he is transformed]
Venin Oranae [when Teleports]
Ranin Destra [multi orb attack?]

once again I have no clue how accurate they are, and if anybody knows what he IS saying please tell.

"Motot Skaravou"? I think it's Motou Chikarayou (something along the lines of "I need more power"). He says it in one of his drama tracks too...

As for Elpis (Elpizo), what I understood was that he was just some random lackey (TK31!) that somehow stumbled into a room and accedentally learned about the "Project Elpis". I'm guessing this was (like you said) the reprogramming of the mother elf and stuff like that. Elpis was obviously lost when he first learned it, since he's a lackey, but I'm guessing he wanted to take that power away from Neo Aradia or something, and that's why he called himself Elpis after that.

And if I'm wrong, someone correct me. My japanese is not that great after all.

Give me enough time and I'm sure I can get a really good run down of what's going on. I've been through 6 years of Japanese (wish I could do more), and these drama tracks are really helping my speaking/listening skills.

Here's a quick synopsis:
Record 1 and Record 2: Both of these take place before Z2, and are told from Elpis' POV (back then he was known as "Keshikibango TK31," and I have no idea what that first part is).

In Record 1, TK31 finds his way into the sealed library Zero wades through in Z3 (I assume this because the level music is playing) and finds his way to the Data room. Something activates, and many images and scenes start playing at once. TK31 describes them as they appear. He sees scenes from the Maverick wars, the Elf wars (he identifies X in one image fighting a creature called Omega), he learns of the Mother elf, the Dark elf, and of the baby elves, one of which is located in Area 7. Project Elpis is the last thing he mentions as an alarm goes off, and Harpuia discovers him there. He apparently panics at the green general's appearance, but Harpuia calmly turns the alarm off and tells him to forget everything he's seen. More coming as I continue to piece it together.

In Record 2, TK31 is at his job when a reploid known as HE22 approaches him and the two begin talking. I'm not sure at this point in time what's being discussed but HE22 is clearly disconcerting TK31. HE22 at one point makes a remark about the Resistance, and right after that Harpuia bursts into the room with a pantheon squad and declares that TK31 has been declared irregular. Everyone else in the room panics at this, while TK31 is in total shock. Harpuia rattles on (perhaps doing something like Miranda rights), when an explosion rips through the area and HE22 starts shooting at Harpuia's squad as emergency kaxons start blaring. HE22 hollers for TK31 to follow him. The next thing you hear is a pair slogging through the sewers. HE22 makes a comment to TK31 and tells him to snap out of it. TK31 snaps back at him and tells him he's going to area 7. HE22, now a bit weirded out, demands to know what he's thinking. TK31 chuckles and tells his companion that he will no longer go by that name, and that his name is now Elpis. The last thing you hear is Elpis muttering to himself that he needs more power. Then he hollers it.

With all this in mind, I'm inclined to believe that it's not just Neo Arcadia that Elpis had a grudge against. He might have had something more personal aimed at Harpuia (seeing as he went way out of his way to cause the Guardian much pain before sicking the baby elves on him). Just an observation.

More to come, it's pretty late and I have class in the morning. I'll update when I learn more. Sorry this is kinda sloppy, but it's the best I can do with what I've managed to catch.

Sage, thanks for the info, but you made a minor mistake here,
I mean no offense tho, but Harpuia IS NOT the one who "arrests" Elpis, It's Leviathan, or at least the voice sounds like that, tho, It could be a random anyone for all they care.

second, I dont' think Elpis has a grudge against Harpuia, he just want's to kick Neo Arcadia butt, and besides that, he's a sadist, what would you expect? Razz

I heard these before, I think that some of the seiyuus for Rockman.EXE played the characters, like how Fefnir sounds like Videoman....Harpuia sounds like a woman ._.

*chuckles* I'm sorry. I didn't mean to confuse you, Elpie (<-- May I call you that? It sounds cute!). *sweatdrop* Should I explain something a little more clearly? If so, tell me and I'll do my best to clarify.

Anyway, all that aside, I'm going to be busy with school for a bit, but I'll still be trying my darndest to get a better grasp of the drama tracks. Too bad I don't have the script for it, that'd make transing a whole lot easier since I'm currently better at reading than listening. Oh well, good learning experience. ^^

Rayven, it's from the Remastered Tracks Rockman Zero, it's a cd, wich also contain some tracks where you hear events in the RMZ series.

anyways Sage, the more I listen, the more I confuse myself, I just can't get the thought of that it's a female person other than Harpuia who arrests TK31 out of my mind, I don't know why, but it's driving me MAD!! *tears hair out* mweep >.<

random other question: Inarabitta mentions Keshkebango in Decision_eight gentle judges, now is that reffering to Elpis, or am I just hearing things?

anywayz, i had no idea elpis had a different name b4. TK31, i was like wtf? lol but anywayz, thats cool. having back ground on elpis is really interesting. i was wondering why he was a little cold to harpuia for no real reason. go figure :p

All right, so now we just need to figure out what "keshikibango" means and we'll have half the battle won on a part of this. So far I can't find a reference anywhere. Has anyone found a lead, by any chance?

I'll ask around campus when I get some free time (hopefully). We're down to the last two weeks before finals and there's a lot of work to be done.
