character's goal

WHat the goals of the characters such as in the original series. I can't figure out any except that Dekao wants the be the strongest What does Netto want to be in the future as well the other cast. SOrry never seen the original series so I have no idea.

Well, most everyone just wants to be the #1 Netbattler, yadda yadda.

As for the saving-the-world stuff, Lan and Megaman happened to be in the right place at te right time a lot in the first series, or else had more of a means to tackling the threatening crises with the help of Yai and her expensive technology. Then in came Axess and he became a NetSavior so now it's his job to save the world. That's pretty much it.

all i thank think is that Netto wants to be the greatest netsavior of something, i've only seen the first 20 of axess, in the original i think he just wanted to be better than enzan.

That's it being a Netbattler? I thought everybody was a Netbattler. If I'm wrong which I think I am, then what do you call these people who have navis?

well not everyone uses their navis for netbattles, take Gylde as an example, he can hardly netbattle, i mean he is a butler navi anyway. Correct if I'm wrong as well.

"Operator" is a the general term for a person with respect to their navi. But even if everyone was a netbattler, why can't they all strive to be the best? Y'know, the same ol' stereotypical goal for every kid in an anime since Pokemon.

What sort of goals do you think the characters should have?

Well in pokemon there are different ranking such as
trainer
gym leader
elite
master

How does in the world of rockman fit here?
trainer=operater I'm pretty sure of that

Don't know where netbattler would be maybe
gym leader=?netbattler

THen there have to be higher ranks somehow. Something like in the 3rd game with the undernet ranking system but I have no idea what is the names of these.

goals , can't say since I didn't see the series though...

you can't really rank people, unless, to goes netbattler, net savior, net agent ect.. but then again, some netbattlers can be better than net agents. all i can think of is the ranking system in BN3.

The Net Saviors are more like special OPs for netcrimes. Netto has a responsiblity now...not much time for play. That's why we see Netto act a little more serious than usually. Duties first...Friends involved in senarios before that, everything else is last...

The main characters are eleven or so years old. You're not going to find them with big, deep life goals at this point. It wouldn't make sense if they did.

Netto is one those little kids who wants to be the best at the local game craze that is sweeping the nation. In this case it's netbattling. Netto want's to be the best netbattler, just as any kid wants to be a pokemon master/World champion Beyblader/ King of Games ect. And not just Netto. Dekao and Enzan want that too. They feel they have something to prove. The girl characters, however, don't have goals like that. Meiru just wants to get Netto to like her, and Yaito doesn't really have a goal cause she can just as easily buy one. Of course they want to support their friends, but they don't actually have a goal.

The only reason Netto became a hero is because their was already a villain. This villain threatened his friends and he, being the good kid, saved them. He was in the right place at the right time and after that, he just became mixed up in a fight that was a little big for him. But he proved himself better than it in the end.

Ultimately the goal of the main characters is to A) Protect loved ones from the "Evil" enemy or B) prove yourself to be the best at whatever. That's all Netto cares about: Save the world, beat Chaud, eat, sleep and my work is done.

The bad guys want to take over the world because they think it's a good idea. Everything is hooked to the net, so everything is dependant on it. Control the net, you control the world. So now bad guys can just plug in navis and conquer the world. So naturally good guys try to stop him. Like the net police, official Netbattler, net saviors, net agents (Pretty much all the same thing). Enzan falls in this category. I don't know if he wants to save the world, so much as he wants to validate his position at the top.

Basically that's it. Save the world and beat everyone else. All kid anime is the same.

eat, sleep, train ect, ect.

wasn't the WWW motive to destroy the net to restart the world to make it a better place with war & stuff? I'm not sure, I know I saw it in a game or the show or something

Ok fine. All villains have either one of two goals: A) Rule the world or B) Destroy the world. Sometimes they can even have both! Destroy the world and then rebuild it so they can rule it. Same difference.

Say blazequest can you name a couple anime that is something like that? Hum I thought Chaud was always the good guy. So why would Netto try to beat him?
