Yes, this is a fangame, and not the MML 3 everyone's waiting for.
But this is a very decent RPG, and since I'm addicted, I'd like to be able to exchange stratagies and hints.
Here's a starter.
Boss 1 (As if I'd spoil it)
This guy'll easily wipe you out if you give him the chance. So don't give him the chance, hit him right off with your Special Attack and odds are that you'll stun him. Keep hammering him with your Buster, attacking with your special move only when he revives. He's got over 100 HP so this may take awhile. But even if he wipes out most of your HP with his ultimate move, you can still win if you're careful. The Buster Enhancement is your friend, so don't be afraid to use it. If you're at Level 2, and still have at least one of your Energy Canteens, you should escape without a scratch.
Once you beat him, high tail it into town and find Data in the Post Office, the little guy will restore your HP, so don't waste Zenny at the Inn.
More to follow soon. _________________

Ooh, I quite like this game. Thanks for the first boss advice, I downloaded this once before and couldn't beat him, but this time I could. The fangame seems great, it has cool, well-done sprites. First Legnds fangame I've seen, too. |

Uhm, question, where might I go about finding this? Sounds like it's worth a shot. :O |

Or from www.smmd.net under the FanGame Archive.
And here's something of interest I've found. If you come across an Item, such as the lifesaving FlakJacket, you have to equip it before it will work for you. To do so, press Escape and a sub menu will appear, go to Items, select Trigger, and then select your item and its all yours. _________________

Wow, I'm surprised! Very addictive game. Might take me off EXE 5 for a while. _________________

Wow, I thought this thread was dead there for a while.
Jenova Spawn, I didn't make the game. But I do know that RPG Maker was used to make it. Don't ask me where to get RPG Maker, because I don't know.
Valtz, You can't save until after you beat the first Boss (for clarity and spoiler's sake,we'll just call him 'The Swordsman'). After you beat the Swordsman, you'll gain access to the town, go into the town and enter the top right building, otherwise known as the post office, inside you'll find Data. Talk to Data and you'll see the 'Save' option in your dialogue screen. Highlight it and press enter, then just save off your game in one of the twenty slots.
Here we go- battle guide for Boss 2! I'll call this guy... Amgis. Before you enter the cave at the southern island, go back to the store on the northern island and pick up a Medicine Packet and a Small Canteen, trust me, you'll need them. Now, go back to the cave and step inside. Someone will speak to you (boy is this guy in the wrong game) but even though the 'Black Shadow' says that he'll heal you, he doesn't. But ignore him and go on your merry little way, until you come to Amgis. Sadly, there is no way to defeat Amgis, but luckily you won't have to. Just hold out long enough for help to arrive. Amgis is immune to the stun effects of your Special Buster, but it does more damage than the regular buster so lay it on. The Machine Buster is nice, but it doesn't help that much, plus it sucks up SP faster. The only real thing you have to worry about is Amgis' viruses. If you get hit by a virus more than three times, you'll become poisoned. Not good, but that's what you've got the Medicine Packet for right? WRONG! DO NOT use the Medicine Packet in your battle with Amgis, he'll just summon another virus and you'll wind up poisoned again. Instead use your Canteens to keep your health up until the cavalry arrives and defeats Amgis for you. It looks like the Swordsman's come to his senses and will help you out! Good. After the battle, press 'Escape' to open up your menu and then use the Medicine Packet on Trigger to remove the poison. Now, head back to the Flutter to pick up your final team member! _________________

I was lucky [spoil:4f9a123ee3]Zero[/spoil:4f9a123ee3] didn't use [spoil:4f9a123ee3]Earth Gaizer[/spoil:4f9a123ee3] and I bought plenty of Energy Canteens. The Second Boss is easy with Zero.Just keep using [spoil:4f9a123ee3]Earth Gaizer[/spoil:4f9a123ee3].
How do you beat [spoil:4f9a123ee3]Maverick Dinosaur.: (((((([/spoil:4f9a123ee3] |

I don't think you can use the Swordsman before you beat Amgis, unless YurikoOtaku has found a secret I've missed.
And I admit, this is a demo game. If you want updates for the status of this game, here's their website (thankies Strider!), but be warned that it is updated very sporadically: http://home.comcast.net/~pohl/ReploidLegacy/main.htm
Anyways, here's my guide for the final boss... who I shall term Annoying Dragon. O.K., this guy looks tough, but he's really a pushover once you learn how to disable him. Annoying Dragon really hates [spoil:4a2ffbd2d7]Gatz's fireball[/spoil:4a2ffbd2d7] so poor it on, however his attacks will wipe you out unless you put a stop to him. To do so, hit him with this combo: [spoil:4a2ffbd2d7]Earth Gaizer, Fireball, and Machine Buster[/spoil:4a2ffbd2d7], every time I use that combo, I've disabled him for several turns. Once again, just use the Swordsman and your other ally to do the dirty work, and keep Trigger on the sidelines to stun Annoying Dragon with the Special Buster whenever he revives. If you're lucky enough to be at Level 6, then you shouldn't need any Energy Canteens, just be sure to refill your health at the fountain before you go charging in to challenge him. But if you're below Level 5, be sure to have some supplies on hand.
And after you finish the demo, you can still wander around. I've noticed several small changes to the layout after you defeat the final boss, but I have yet to find anything majorly different. However, I am beginning to suspect that something's hidden after the final boss... _________________

The Special Buster is the way to go. Even if you make a direct beeline for Zero, you should at least have reached Level 2 from your Reaverbot battles, and you should still have your Energy Canteens. The Stun Effects are guarrenteed to last at least two turns, so put it to use. Whenever you see "Zero is reviving" in your text box, switch over to your Special Buster and start obliterating things. If you keep Zero off balance with the Special Buster, he shouldn't give you that much trouble. If you find yourself running low on health, use a Canteen since you can restock in town. _________________
