Nope. Too complex to think about. Too many logisitics to iron out of the system. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! Possible? Yes, definately, in EXE 2, parts of the real world merged with the Cyber world due to radiation, so Crossfusion or a simalar situation is definately possible.
BUT!
Good idea? In my opinion, no. EVERY single battle in the anime is crossfusion in some form, noone even USES the internet, it's just a piece of backstory to help prop-up Cross Fusion and the horrors of people possibly using navis in the real world to hurt people in inpractical ways.
I don't want to see that happen in the games, the games managed to keep their base concept for the most part, Navis and programs in the Cyber world, humans in the real world. Bad guys use the cyber world to cause trouble , not bounce to the real world because the writers are too lazy to think of new ways to do that.(My favorite scenario is in EXE 1, when Higsby used Number Man to hack into the school's system and cause a brainwashing program to appear, devious cleaver. Had Number Man jumped into the real world unexpectedly, he'd just pissoff/scare people.)
Anyway
long story short
Cross fusion is no-go in the games _________________ Here's lookin' at you kid. |

I agree completely with JunkmanSP. Cross Fusion kills the ".EXE" in Rockman.EXE .... Turns the show into friggen Cyber Rangers, or something like that. Half the reason I love EXE is because I'm really into computers - the other half is because I'm really into MegaMan.
My favorite thing in the games was also in the first game. I liked Coloredman's thingy with the streetlights. Were that to be done ala CrossFusion, he'd just get hit by a car and be run over. _________________ I think it's time to say goodbye. |

I've said it before, I'll say it again: Cross Fusion killed the anime. And it will kill the games if it is ever brought into them. Like Josuke mentioned, the whole idea behind the series is just be tossed aside in favor of Cross Fusion rangers. No, they need to keep Navis in the 'net and human in the real world. _________________ (\ ºvº\ (\

Now I really didn't have a problem with CF. It was fine, as the barrier between two realms was shattered. However, what ticks me off is the fact that it is used so goddamn much. It gets to a point where it becomes pretty much like a staple that is needed to keep the anime alive.
And the games are already on the downfall...if they introduce CF into EXE6, that's the final nail in the coffin. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! to say the truth i kinda stop watching rockman because of the cross fusion it just got kinda corny(lol i love that word)other than that PlaguedOne does have a point, navis should stay in cyber world and humans in their own world. _________________

I think Cross Fusion existed because the Dimensional Areas came into the action. Instead of Cross Fusion, the animators should let Net-Ops bring Navis into the Dimensional Areas with that Wireless Plug Netto made in the last episode of Rockman EXE. |

Why covertly use Shadowman to open a locked door, when you can use Asteroid Yamatoman to totally smash the damn thing and get everyone's attention and probably get arrested? _________________ Here's lookin' at you kid. |

If they make another anime based game like EXE WS, fine. but NOT in BN6, or any other game in the BN continuity. The anime made their bed, now they can lie in it.
I was upset enough when they switched to the Plug-In PET in BN3, I don't want more anime stuff barging in where it's not needed. |

Cross Fusion in the games? No, thanks.
EXE is supposed to be about computers and the internet, and Cross Fusion just about killed that in the anime. So, I wouldn't be a very happy person if CF came to the games. >_> _________________ ~スライダーちゃん~

Uh no, though I am apparently the only person that thinks cross fusion is cool on this board (though i admit it was getting dull till recently.) Even I agree that it would totally screw up the games. That kind of thing only works in anime and could never translate to an rpg. |

CF was cool to begun with, now it isn't. They would have to change so much just to get it working, but to be honest, it would just be Rockmen in a real world scenario, and in battle, it would just be a diffrent Rockman Sprite _________________

Agreed. CF is for the anime purposes...which does add a bit of flair, but beyond that...
Besides, we don't even know if a RMEXE6 is being worked on. All we know is that the DS is going to get a Battle Network game, one that I have no idea of whether it will be the same as EXE1 or different. _________________ I can't help you. I don't speak English.

If Cross Fusion were EVER used, I'd like it only to be used in possibly a final level that's in the real world. As for it being a continual thing, HELL. NO. |

Putting Cross Fusion into the games would be like making the game a turn-based rpg; it would completely kill its originality.
One of the great things about the EXE/BN series is that it features two main protagonists working as a team, each unable to do certain things that their partner can help with. I've always loved the Operator/Navi teams because they seem to me like a boxer and his couch; the boxer (navi) fights the battles, while the couch (Operator) helps from the sidelines with advice and support. (And, in the case of the BN universe, with various weapons and powerups.)
Crossfusion kills that. In the entirety of Axess and Stream, how often did RockMan get to see any action? Especially when compared to how often Netto showed how simliar he can be to Sailor Moon and Power Rangers with his transformation sequences?
My point is, Crossfusion makes the Navis essentially pointless. It would also screw up the combat system (Is it really neccesary for me to try and figure out what chips I'm going to need and in what order for the next battle?) one of the best features the games have!
As an aside, if Capcom starts trying to make the BN games more in tune with that terrible NT Warrior show, starting to use the terms "NetOp" and "Cyber Sword", I'm swearing off any future BN games. It may sound strange, but I've got a funny feeling that this is the direction Capcom is headed. _________________ Stuck In The Middle With You; a Metroid and Halo crossover
