Pokemon is actually meant for little kids.

The worst i've seen?

Yu-Gi-Oh
Sailor Moon
Megaman NT Warrior/Rockman
Card Captor Sakura/Cardcaptors
Rurouni Kenshin, or at least the editing (They edited out every single drop of blood, and left the sound effects for the blood, result? Terrible edits)

That's all I can think of as far as plot changes and editing.

Now voices... well I just have issues with alot of english VA's.

I second you on those neko. I hated how they edited the kenshin series. >.< It burns my eyes....

I didn't like how they did digimon. I also dispised how they did sailormoon. They changed the whole storyline! the words are so different from they way they really said it. How does "3 o'clock, monday" be the same as "the 3 o'clock fairy"? I don't get that still. I really don't like how they did "Mew Mew Power". I liked the original name, "Tokyo Mew Mew". I just lost touch of the show too fast. They really did something to the show to make me not like it.... >_<

I think that some of the things that they showed on toonami was bad too. Either they edited duel masters to the point of no return or the story line wasn't that great. I also hated how they dismantled yu-gi-oh........ Dragon ball z was pretty weird too. It was good, but I mean much of the action was gotten rid of, and the comical parts too. they were all obliterated so it wasn't as good as it should've been.

Maybe we should just say "anime shown on television in north america" and be done with it?

Personally, for me, Sailor Moon. But that's not really what the original intent of the topic was, I think, haha. I think it amusing that someone his age has the gall to refer to "little kids". :P

Dragonball, plus GT killed it for me. Stopped paying it mind during the Buu saga. Yu-Gi-Oh, before it was all about cards it had a pretty interesting story. And it was kinda violent.

Not all anime sucked in teh U.S.

Outlaw Star was pretty much the only good one... (aside from the part that they took out my favorite episode, even on Adult Swim...)

I never liked almost all anime on cartoon network, Except adult swim, and then i still only watch about half of those. I remember like a year ago they had FLCL on adult swim. what happened to it? It just didn't come on one day... It was so sad. I thought pokemon was cool until about a year or two ago, but i have personal reasons why i don't like it. I also don't like really anything on foxbox or whatever they call it, kirby is the only thing worth watching, and i still don't wake up that early just to watch it. sonic was kinda cool. but they put these lame kids in it. anyone who has watched the original sonic shows would know that the new ones are pretty stupid, but the old one wasn't the best either... It was still better than the new shows! as for sailor moon, that was before i got into anime. I hate dbz. thats all i have to say...

I can excuse some changes, for things like localization.

After all, if they change dialouge, because it's a joke only the Japanese would understand, then I can accept the change. However it never usually stops there Razz

NT Warrior- Needs no explanation. If it did, I'd take up atleast 2 paragraphs griping over it.

Pokemon- Started off alright. Not super great, but alright. Watchable, atleast. Then they got into the G/S season and we suddenly have Ash taking a backseat to every person who came along with a new pokemon.

Dragonball Z- The original Dragonball was great. Was great at mixing action with comedy. Then came Z, which started off great, but then took a nosedive around the Frieza saga. The initial voices suited the characters very well, but then both the voice acting and the dialoge got really stale. (Though it was pretty funny to have the big, bad Frieza look on and say "Darn! He didn't die!")

O---k. This will probably go to NT Warrior. It was totally off the hook, and oh, Pretty Cure. I doubt any of you heard of it 'cause it was only aired in Japan. I went there last July so... yeah. it was pretty much lik Saiolr Moon except there were only 2 people. Black'n'White.

For me,

Pokemon is going bad with time.

Inyusha, started off stupid, its getting better with time.

Gundum Seed, started off stupid, its getting better with time.

.Hack//Legend of the Twilight, compared to the Manga, the anime is crap.

Yugioh GX, it has ups and downs, right now up again.

Dragon Ball, it drags out things too long.

Sailor Moon, only Super S super sux.

Megaman NT Warrior, bad all the way until Axess. I pray that they keep it that way.
