I'll go for PS2, it's got Klonoa2 Luntea's Veil and the controller size is just right. Xbox is too big. I don't own a PS2. Laughing

Well, before anyone makes a selection, you have to look at your options. As for PS2, the game selection is incredible, also, the games apply to all age groups, meaning that there is a good selection for all audiences. As for XBOX, you have a smaller selection on games, but the graphics are better. Also, the XBOX generally has games for older audiences, aka. Halo, MechAssualt, etc. I guess it all depends on what you're looking for, games or graphics. The PS2 also has slightly slower loading times than the XBOX.

Me? well i'd have to go for the Xbox because well of its everything! Its internet capeability which by the way lets you talk with other people across the world it also has Halo and DDR (secretly im a REALLY hooked fan) plus you can use custom soundtracks on some games like Tony Hawk so yeah -_-;

I'd go with PS2, because well... Xbox doesn't really have the "characters" that PS2 or GameCube has.

But Xbox Live is kinda cool.

And referring the Cloud's post: Though graphics don't = gameplay, would you rather play the old school Tetris, or Tetris on a Xbox? Razz

I like PS2 better because of it's games.(R&c and Jak&Daxter)

Anyways, I haven't really played much of either, so I can't be too sure. I hear Ninja Gaiden for the XBox is pretty good; AND it includes the old NG (Ninja Gaiden) games if you beat the new game.

Everyone's saying that the PS2 has the better games. Especially RPGs. I have a few words for you: MORROWIND AND STAR WARS KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC. The 2 best RPGs EVER. Next to D&D.

Halo kicks some major booty, Republic Commando, JSRF, NINJA GAIDEN, and MANY others. The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion is coming out next year for X-Box 2.

I'm not saying PS2 is a bad system, or X-Box has more and better games. What I am saying is THERE ARE MORE GOOD GAMES ON THE X-BOX THAN HALO.

Another reason I like X-Box more is because PS2's trademark games, Final Fantasy, are turn-based.

I DON'T LIKE TURN-BASED.

Which explains why I hated The Lord of The Rings: The Third Age, even though I'm a pretty hard core LotR junkie.

Translates to: I don't like the PS2 for some reason. Yay X-box....

I despise both systems. XD The Super Nintendo meets my every goal; look, durability, awesome titles and gameplay, comfy controllers. However, I imagine the GameCube was left out to stem the flow of Nintendo fanboyism, so I will choose from the choices presented:

PS2. Aesthetically pleasing, controllers that can actually be used by people with small hands, and licenses SquareEnix games. I think the Xbox motif is ugly, it's far too heavy/clunky and it's REALLY REALLY fragile. I need a system that can survive a fall from the TV to the floor when someone trips over the cord. XP

Also, XBox games are thoroughly uninteresting in my opinion, minus possibly Fable. I'm not much of a FPS type.

Really? It was shown that the PS2 is much more fragile than the XBox, yet i do agree--it is like a friggin' tank.

And why would you put your system in such a precarious location in the first place?

I like X box because you can play burned dvds in there and you don't have to put in a code to watch a movie like some others said, if any. Izumi I go through that in my room too because it's small. Can't you get a TV stand with a place to put your VCR and PS2 on? Or at least put it aside your TV so that you don't have to worry about it falling. That's what I did untill I had room for a small TV stand.

LMAO. That is the same image! They took an old Famicom and photoshopped it. That is 100 percent fake.

you wouldn't ask about my floor if you saw the size of my room. :P

As it is I have all the consoles stacked neatly on top of each other with a little shelf to separate the uneven ones. PSX on the bottom, SNES, VCR, GameCube, with the NES heaped on top of the TV, controllers and zappers and whatnot perched on the Cube. It works. :3
