Okay, in Stream ep 27 the cars were stick shift. Now I'm wondering if this is the future then wouldn't the cars be automatic?
I mean all of the cars were stick, what are your thoughts on this? _________________ Roses are #FF0000, violets are #0000FF. All my base are belong to you.

What I would worry about is why everything in their world is controlled by computers, but not cars. I mean, if even keyboards have jack-in slots, then why can't cars be controlled by a navi? I suppose it would make sense if a virus tried to delete car programs and cause mass chaos, but even so, it's more practical. |

Well, you think about cars in the show having Stick shift, and I have two answers. In Europe, some people like stick shift cars. But.... what about BN1, in the Colorman scenario, when the stoplights go out of control, causing the cars to have alot of wrecks? If the car's were manually driven, why didn't they pull over to the side of the road? There's something for you to think about. |

Stick shift was probably a reversion to prevent people from causing havoc with computer-controlled cars. Perhaps the manufacturers got wise when the hackings and accidents began to happen, and reverted the system to nullify that liability. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! Or, that car could have belonged to Wily, in which he hates the Net. But he has a shopping buggy... |

EXE isn't as futuristic as it seems, the TVs and PETs don't have good sound. _________________ 98% of all teenagers have injected a mixture of morphine and crab urine into their eyeballs, if you're one of the 2% who gives a fig about these stupid made-up statistic messages, copy and paste this into your sig. |

No, they show the people using the stick, Mejin does, it's even labled XD
Also, the cars ARE connected to the internet, that's what stream 27 is about. Anywho, maybe they decided that Stick shift was safer? I can't drive so I don't speak from experiance. _________________ Roses are #FF0000, violets are #0000FF. All my base are belong to you.
